Hi all, thanks for your help. DAO never once from day one would start in full screen mode for me. I got around this by changing the video to windowed mode in the DAO config tool in the games load screen menu. Then I would switch to fullscreen after the game started. This let me playt the game no problem. Today I went to play, and the config tool has changed! I no longer have the option to set display to full screen in the config tool. Has anyone encountered this problem as well? Thanks for any help.

ASUS maximus formula
2x ASUS EAH 3870TOP 512 (crossfire Latest drivers did not help. switching back did not help. No overheat or overclock)
Vista home pro 64 bit
dx 11 with 10 and 9 loaded as well
