Hi, I'm unable to buy the Warden's Keep DLC because I can't purchase
any Bioware points. Every time I click on that link, I get the
following message:
An unexpected system error has occured.
com.liferay.portal.DuplicateUserScreenNameException
Can't add Bioware Points

i got a response back from this forums admin...
Ok, I'm in a bit of an odd position here. Today EA laid me, and about 1500+ others off. I want to stand by the software my team implemented, but my ability to look into accounts has ended.
I would suggest opening a ticket at help.dragonage.com, or contacting EA Support directly at the EA homepage.
..that's the response. GG EA

Apparently nobody seems to be working on the tickets. Just got an e-mail about the ticket I've opened last Friday that support will assume the issue has been resolved if they hear not back from me ... I am sorry to have to say this but the support is bad.

I posted a ticket about the cc verification problem on sunday and I actually got a response today...
it was a rehash of the same old advices that had already been given earlier, even though I especially mentioned in the ticket that I had already checked/tried/done everyone of them...

Can it be that all technicians who had access to the system or any clue how the system works have been laid off? I've got an automatic answer that my ticket will be closed because they didn't hear back from me for about 3 days. Funny thing is nothing has changed noone requested additional information so there was no reason for me to update anything ... So I've updated the ticket stating that the problem still exists.
Now someone from support answered asking me for a screenshot with the error message. I am not sure how this will help anyone because the error message is exactly 2 lines long so there is no need for a screenshot ... made one anyways.
If you try to add points it automatically opens the url with HTTPS. The error message clearly states that there is a problem with the user account somewhere in the database. I dont want to be a smart ass but doing a simple google search with the error message reveals this:
http://www.liferay.c...message/1536672
So please someone with access to the system and a clue fix this! This whole situation just makes me mad because I am working in the IT industry and I know how good support looks like, have done it myself helped customers establish support services, etc. The support provided by EA for DAO is just bad! Almost two weeks to fix a problem that probably shouldn't take longer then 15 minutes to fix ...
Whats even more sad is that software pirates can enjoy the DLC without any problems for free and people who are willing to pay for good stuff only have problems ...
Sorry about the ranting but some things just have to be said.

I have a feeling that it will work soon. An engineer from tier 3 support contacted me today! Apparently there are still some people left working at EA with proper system access

Well it looks like that the support engineer investigating my problem either was laid off, went on vacation or whatever ...
I've had about enough with EA support if they dont want my money I can buy other stuff with it. Even if they manage to fix my account in the next millenia or so I won't buy any additional DLC although I really liked the game...

Matzoe try to change the e-mail address of your account here: https://profile.ea.com/login.do. Just login to your account and on the top of the site click on "Update my info". Now you'll be able to change your e-mail address. After that I could login to the bioware site and buy points.

I'm going to need someone from support to walk me through this. I've noticed that some people have found solutions. Unfortunately, they aren't very articulate with their solution - left me nothing but a puzzled look. When I click in-game on "Add Points", it simply takes me to the home page over and over again. I would love to play Warden's Keep, but alas, there is no foreseeable way to do this.
Please help me.
Please help me.
