So I've got a question: Leliana is hardened and in love with me. However, I just agreed to marry Anora before the Landsmeet and my very next conversation with Leliana had her confronting me about this decision. I've read that a hardened Leliana is supposed to agree to be your mistress despite the marriage, but in my convos, (and I've tried every possible option) it always ends up with us breaking up. Any further convos start with her saying "I know that look" instead of " and it's pretty clear that we're broken up. I haven't beaten the game yet, so I have no way of knowing, but is this truly the end? Are we permanently off, or is this the normal sequence that everyone goes through and the epilogue sets it right in the end if she's hardened (which she is)?

This is pretty damn specific, I know, in a game with ridiculous attention to detail, but if anyone has been through this already and remembers a convo in the camp or whatever where she agrees to be your mistress, I would appreciate knowing. Thanks guys.

You have to wait for the coronation, to set up her being your mistress. If she is wearing armor in the throne room then you can set it up,

Oh thank goodness. I haven't gotten there yet but hopefully things will be right then. I know for a fact she's hardened, (well, Isabela and I know) so I was so confused why this was happening. Thanks again.

Keep in mind though that even if she agrees to be your mistress post-coronation that the romance is over.



Awakening will treat it as if you never romanced Leliana at all and you'll end up with Anora in the epilogue.



If you're on the pc you can use Ejoslin's Zevran fix mod which will fix the hardened Leliana's response and she won't dump you after you agree to marry Anora (this is how it was supposed to be, but it's bugged in vanilla).

Funny story: I had left Marjolaine alive so she decided to go after her instead of staying with me. All that hard work... I guess it teaches one not to be greedy with ambitions to be king and stick with what you've got. :-/

I am seriously contemplating playing it all over again just to fix this. She is that important. Props to BioWare for making these decisions feel like they really matter and affect us.

What sucks is I thought you could be Queen with Alistair and keep Leliana as mistress, but apparently that is only an option with Anora
