Guess I'll be the tank next game so I can switch people out.

played most part without a healer(damn hard) and had an easy time after i specced morrigan into spirithealer and groupheal.
btw.. using ice storm alot helps to keep ur party alive.. without a healer.

This means you don't nessecarily need a "Fulltime" healer for your group!

My problem is that I'm literally stuck with myself, Alister/Shale as the tank, Morrigan, and Wynne as my party without much I can change. I sometimes use Leliana instead of a tank if I don't feel like going back and getting all the chests somewhere, but this whole 4 party members thing just bugs me.
You do not HAVE to have both Morrigan and Wynne in the same party at all times. Give Morrigan a basic heal and trade Wynne for someone else; or, ditch Morrigan, make sure Wynne has some form of CC, and fill the last slot with another melee.

Well I say have to because the party is infinitely worse without a tank, mage for damage/cc, and a healer. I'm pretty sure the toolset lets you increase party size so I'll probably wait for a hack to come out and just play on hard or something, but its still annoying that the party is so inflexible.
I was about to change to hard mode too, but the game just got spicier around level 14 to where I really do need the party that I mentioned.

occasionally i switch wynne for alistair (did the first deep roads run that way), no heals, Alistair tanks (and drinks health pots like a herd of camels), Me and Morrigan CC/Aoe, and Leliana still hangs around and opens boxes.
works fine mostly, altough the Carta mission final fight took 3 tries to get right (should have skipped bear form (that i never use) and gone for the lightning storm or whatever the lightning tree aoe was).

Me, I'm a 2h warrior that there to take out yellow creatures and bosses. The tough, heavly armored enemies. The party can pretty much handle anything.

You do however practially have to have a mage.
