Read the title and enjoy my plight people.
It started innocent at first my little sister started up a Human Noble, doing good so far.
Then my other sister started playing as a Mage, cool now I can talk about it to people.
Then my Dad who is out with a back injury started playing as a Dwarf Noble too, so besides me, that makes three people in my house who play it. The funny thing is however I have to come and help them every so often and explain things to them. My sisters have got to the tower and my Dad is still in Ostagar so they are pretty early in the game.

Now the fun sets in my Mom lo and behold started A Dalish Elf last night because my Dad got her into it. So I have no less than 4 other people to help through the game now. I am thinking I should never have talked to them about it. However my question is do any of you have to fight to get to play at your houes, or have family or siblings who play?

Four people? Maker...I had my brother to contend and we fought over it constantly, until we got an Xbox and he claimed it while I claimed the PC.

Yeah, with four people you need to a) bookmark the wiki for them (http://dragonage.wik...Dragon_Age_Wiki) and B) find a second platform to play on.

Also, good for you! Tell them we all said hello.

I have told them to go to the wiki! They just keep saying "Thomas" or son: Why, What, who, or when type questions. Also they are playing on the Desktop now, my laptop was being used but hey summer courses and papers are a good excuse I guess.

BTW- Both my sisters find Alister adorable, my Dad literrally said well played Bhelem well played.

Also my mom is freaking good at it to. Althoug she kepts asking me what lethalin and shem ment. I have literally given the brief history of Thedas 5 or 6 times now, getting good at it.

4 people?!:o
Yeah that's the same reason why I bought the game for my PC cause my husband was hogging the PS3. But, even then sometimes I would be like a 'back seat gamer' whenever he would get to a part I knew he would have trouble with.
Good luck with that.

I started out by looking over my Dear Spouse's shoulder. When I realized this was a whole lot different that his grinder-style Diablo II, he let me use his computer to do a HN run-through. When I wanted to keep playing, he insisted I get my own dang computer. So I did.

Three people here, with one PC and two xbox 360's. The only problem with this is that I can never watch TV when the xboxes are in action (I'm the PC gamer). The solution to having multiple players in one household is for everyone to have their own game on their own gear (and plenty of TV's if there are xbox gamers around).

And here's why I only play PC, with my back to a wall and the screen turned well away from anyone who could be watching, with headphones.

Ctrl+alt+delete is my friend. It should be your's, too!

TiVo.  Or a DVR.  So long as it lets you stream to your PC.

Yeah.  Me too.  Mine would rather watch Dr. Who or Anime than play video games.  The funny thing is, I've been talking about the game so much that we can actually have an intelligent conversation about it.  That always makes my husband grumpy.

I'm selfish and don't like to share. Anyways, my kids are too young and my spouse is satisfied with surfing the net.

I was introduced to DAO through watching my brother play it. I borrowed the disc to install and run the game to my laptop, but would return it to him whenever he asks since he bought it. So far, he asked for it once to play RTO; I got it back when he finished it. I Thank goodness for ME2, Bioshock 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (LOL, a trend!) for keeping him busy while I play DAO. Otherwise, I might bug him for it. Too bad he already used the free codes for Shale and the Blood Dragon Armor :(

Make stuff up. If they complain say something like "Oh, sorry, I must be confusing it with something else. Maybe you should check the Wiki."

My spouse and I play. He brought home the game originally and I ended up buying my own copy since I didn't want to wait until he was done playing. It was such a well done game that I didn't mind paying for another copy. IMO, the games to not tell your family about are the MMO ones. ;)

That's why, in my house, there are four computers, so that everyone can use one when they want. My brother and my dad both play on their separate computers, and I play on mine. My mom has no interest in video games, thankfully.

Both my little sisters are goody two shoes, but my Dad is a sarcastic guy in the game. My mom was distracted as a dalish saying um, why I am running in a forest in a revealing Bathing suit?
Also my sisters both wuv Alister it is weird.

It is so hard to be a goody two shoes your sisters must be quite innocent if they can do it with very little hint of malice (I love playing Renegade type characters)

Also, reading the books might help you kill time man ;)

What is weird is that both want to now alister now, and when I told them they actually had to do quests they almost cried. Also my Dad somehow knew Bhelen was up to something, was creepy to see that.

I could do that or re watch the whole Firefly show in one day!
I am really looking forward to the weekend.

LOL! This why when I had to buy a new computer I bought a laptop that would support DragonAge. My husband thought I was out of mind but I reminded how much we would fight over who turn it was to play the Xbox. He on ME2, Assassins Creed (both 1 and 2) and Fable 2. and me stuck on Fable 2 and DragonAge.

So solved that problem but how he had acquired Total Empire for PC so he can use my computer to play it. Go figure! Posted ImageTold him to stick with his Xbox and leave my PC alone. Thankfully there is just two of us for the time being! If I had to deal with more than two like you have Giggles_Manically and I would start lopping heads off with whatever nearest swords happen to be hanging on the wall. Posted Image Ever feel like you are a broken record explaining yourself over and over again about Thedas and all it's wonders and politics?

Happily, my brother is every single console gamer stereotype personified, thus he dislikes Dragon Age. Now the difficulty was that before I got the PC version he decided that Modern Warfare 2 was just as important as my time with Dragon Age.
