Speaking of Horizon....didn't anyone find it suspicious that Alliance installed defense towers that did not work because of the targeting matrix..

Was it Cerberus behind that? Or was it the Alliance hoping to lure Cerberus in ( since they thought Cerberus was responsible ).by making the Colony easy prey.

I'm gonna go with the old adage "Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by
incompetence."

My reason's for blowing it up is because you can make an argument that the Illusive man is indoctrinated. He'll continue

You can?  Could you do us a favor and make that argument?  'Cause I'm just not seeing it. Yeah, sure,  just about anybody could be indoctrinated, but that's merely a possibility and not very useful for making decisions.

He is an antagonist, he wants to keep the human reaper, you can see by his face that he has other plans than saving humanity. Red background and all. By video game standards you can assume he may be indoctrinated because Cerberus has had more contact with Reaper technology than anyone else. I know that won't be enough for people on this forum who are hypercritical and dissect every fragment of this game. I shouldn't have said argument, poor choice of words.

Taking aside absolute biased approach to Alliance and Council showed pretty clear by Mac Walters (and all Udina's Council versions) for Alliance any "activity" on Horizon was political really hazardous endavour because if Council would learn that Alliance authorized set up military installation on the colony OUTSIDE thier jurisdiction area Alliance culd face harsh sanctions including high possibility of loosing Council seat.

And basing at pre Horizon talk whit TiM where he actively opposed to asking Alliance for help i have pretty strong suspicious that this turrets "sabotage" was caused by cerberus mole who have direct order to "open Horizon gates" for Collectors by disabling those turrets.

Furthermore... how TiM could be so sure that Horizon IS another target just because they went silent?
What if colonists just temporaly shut down main transmiter for routine maintenance?

No... he known way too much to be just coincidence... this was very cold and ruthless planned set up whit one purpose - test invented by Mordin countermeasure for seeker swarm and set up first major step in direction and TiM's ultimate goal worth sacrificing every single Terminus colony... achieve direct and unlimited control over C-base.

BS Shand, we've been over this. CERBERUS IS A TOTALLY UNPROVEN QUANTITY. You don't hand a lunatic a gun to smite a lion. You shoot the lion yourself.

BS yourself, we have been over this. Cerberus has proven competent and capable so far and the Collector base is too important to just destroy.

That's not what your mom said!
Go back and read the posts since you've forgotten.

Why do you all see the Illusive Man as a terriost? Last time i checked theres a huge difference between B-L-A-C-K O-P-S and T-E-R-R-O-I-S-M. If it promises Humanity supremecy im willing to take the risk. Humanity has earned it

Humanity has earned it? You mean: You want it, so you're willing to say that "we've earned it"
You do no favors with that line, it's just extremely thinly veiled "me, me, me"

Seriously, do you know how I felt in the game when I found out TIM had found an actual Reaper - and he didn't tell the Council?

I had been trying so hard to convince the Council the Reapers are real, to mobilize them, and the situation was starving for evidence of the Reapers' existence. And here TIM had a serious piece of evidence right here that at the very least would make the Council do a double-take, and he didn't tell them because he wanted it all to himself?

Who knows how TIM's insatiable desire to hoard and monopolize galactic-critical information will hurt us this time.

The base must die.

A dead Reaper wouldn't prove anything to the Council. They already had one, after all.

Well bits and pieces of one.

I do agree with many Pro Cerberus people the council could be better run by the three stooges.

As a matter of fact humanity did earn it. It was a Human Leader, a human vessel and a human black ops group which took action in securing and ending the invasion of the collectors so this means it was humanity which protected the galaxy from the dangers of a potiential threat. Of course we earned the power of the galaxy. We deserve that technology from the collector's base.

Sometimes I feel sorry for self-loathing liberals like yourself, but this isn't one of those times.

That's not saying much, the only person Glenn Beck doesn't make look decent is Rush Limbaugh.
