I didn't see any insults.  So what are you really trying to say here?
TIM was pretty cool headed the entire time, aside from talking
to Miranda, he seemed a bit aggressive.

You think that ruthless isn't an insult? There were also other comments that Sheppard said.

And TIM clearly raised his voice in anger when Sheppard accused him of wanting to grow a Reaper.

And still, you are arguing on a minor issue when the real one is this:

TIM is considering building a Reaper. I do not want to give him the tech to do so.

No, I don't.  That's an opinion Shepard voiced.  I'm quite sure TIM is well aware of what he is.

No, no he clearly did not raise his voice in anger.  TIM is pretty clear and monotone throughout the majority of the conversation, till he starts talking to Miranda.

TIM is not considering building a Reaper.  He did not say this.  The narrative makes it clear this is logistically impossible.  The audience is aware (well I am at least.)  The characters are aware.  EDI is aware.  So where's the evidence that TIM is considering building a Reaper?  It can't be in that youtube vid, because there's no allusion to it, no clear statement, and no intention of it.

NONSENSE. The easiest way to further his Pro-Human agenda is to make a Pro-Human Reaper out of Pro-Human Human slurry.

Humans have this way of only thinking their perception of a situation is correct. What makes your perception better than mine? It isn't. We both gathered different information from the same situation by using our distinct skills and experiences. You have no way to prove that I am wrong, especially since I essentially gave you a road map to my evidence, and you still ignored it.

TIM is pretty hostile and aggressive when he sneers that an alien has no place having an opinion on this matter. It seemed a pretty classic, mad-eyed, "Give me the ring, Frodo! Think what we can accomplish with it! GLORY FOR GONDOR!"

Your evidence?  The evidence is the same.  You have a theory that the writer was trying to have an interroation, oh wait, no they weren't.  They were using an interrogation tactic that they weren't aware of...okay they weren't using an interrogation tactic.

You believe TIM wants to build a Human Reaper.  Because he displays emotion I can't see.

Is that the jist of it?

Perhaps you should apply this philosophy to yourself, who knows, you might even turn around and decide that smudboy is right.

He is considering building a Reaper. There is a massive difference between planning on building a Reaper, and considering it.

No you aren't and I understand your philosophy just fine. I disagree with your philosophy. When you and all your people die your philosphy and morals die right along with you.

A rational and logical person would do everything they could to prevent this extinction and worry about the moral costs later. It is wrong to judge an entire race or species anyway, so at most the moral costs will be incurred on specific people. Worthy sacrifices, I say.

The fact that you are putting your own personal morals ahead of the survival of trillions of people means you are selfish and irrational.

You're also stupid.

So if I consider going to the bathroom to take a dump, it's different than planning on going to the bathroom to take a dump?  Cause in either case, I'm still thinking about taking a dump.

And when I consider taking a dump, I realize I have to walk to the bathroom, close the door, drop my pants...
And when I'm planning on going to the bathroom to take a dump, I'm envisioning walking to the bathroom, thinking how much force I should apply turning the knob to the door...

Wait a sec.  How the flying diarrhea do you know he's 1) considering building a Reaper, but 2) not planning on building a Reaper?

Also what is the massive difference between the two?

And how do you know he's considering building a Reaper?

Sheppard: You are completely ruthless. The next thing I know, you'll be wanting to grow your own Reaper!

TIM: My goal is to save humanity from the Reapers, at any cost, I've never

hidden that from you!

Simple...

You know, in real life, I probably would've kept the base, for a number of reasons.

It would be an awesome location for parties. Personally, I'd open a night club.

Tim never said he's considering or planning to build a Reaper.  That sentence proves nothing.  All it proves is TIM wants to save humanity.  It doesn't say how, what methods, or under what pretense.

It also doesn't say he's considering or planning to build a Reaper.  And there's no way you can determine he's considering it over what was said, or planning it.

I kept it in a few of my games but if I were to make a Shepard based off me in real life, I'd destroy it. I was disgusted by what it represented and to let Cerberus' paws on it would only further add insult to injury.

I'd even consider destroying it even it was the Alliance or the Council who'd recieve it.

But he didn't say he wasn't building one either.

"My goal is to save humanity, at any cost"

Even if you decide to be blind from simple human communication patterns or obvious foreshadowing, "at any cost" would include building a Reaper.

He doesn't have enough intel to plan.

I'm not blind to human communication.  I'm very clear on what Shepard said before.

You're implying that because Shepard said it, TIM was considering it.  I'm sure he was considering how many cigarettes he had left to smoke, or how many drinks he'd pour that day, too.  Although I can make an argument for that because in some later scenes, we see him smoke and take a drink.

We do not see him contemplate, or start planning, or even say, or show us, he's going to build a Human Reaper.

TIM may not have enough intel to plan how to build a Human Reaper, but he does have enough intel that to build a Human Reaper would be impossible.
