Sorry for the long title, but I have 2 questions I would love answered. Im starting my "canon" Shepard and I wasnt him to be lvl 60 to import into ME2. So, what level does my shepard have to be by the end of my first playthrough in order to reach lvl 60 by the end of the second playthrough? Isn't it like 50 something?
And onto my second second question, how many paragon points are needed to be able to pass all of the charm options? I know it goes up to 12 possible points, but aren't only 8 points needed to pass all of the checks?
Thanks a lot
What level do you need to be at the end of playthrough #1 to reach lvl 60 at the end of your second? And how many paragon/renegade points are needed to pass all checks?

Hard to say, but you need have 862 100 exp to be level 60, so half of that is 431 050.
Now lvl 56 is 406 100 exp and lvl 57 is 462 100 exp. How ever, You also get exp based you current level, so I don't know how much you get on second run. I was my self 47 and ended 58 on second run. So my first run was about 200 000 exp and second 350 000 exp. that's 75% more from second run.

I went from 50 to 60 my 2nd playthrough, since 1st playthrough capped at 50.
Though I did every sidequest (collection ones too) and unlocked every crate, etc.
For your second question on morality, check here- http://masseffect.wi.../Morality_Guide

You'll need all 12 points to pass all checks. If you want to do it in two playthroughs you'll need to be level 50+, you can reach level 57, maybe 58 during your first playthrough.
If you want to save yourself the points needed for Charm and Intimidation, simply do three playthroughs with the Mako and do every mission during your final playthrough.

...doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of raising those in the first place? You won't max them until like halfway through your third playthrough doing that. The first playthrough you will only be able to pass precious few checks, and only a significant way into the second will you be able to pass a good number. So, isn't this just another way of saying, "If you don't care about charm or intimidate, they'll go up on their own--not that you'll care"?

If it takes three playthroughs to maximize charm/intimidate, then you can't meet all the possible persuasion checks until your fourth playthrough. So it's worth it to put some points into one of those skills if you only plan on playing twice (to get to level 60) and want to open up a few options. For instance, since a lot of people do Feros early, you do need to have charm/intimidate maximized to get the persuastion check on Jeong.
If I do a thorough playthrough, I tend to make it to level 57 no problem, and that's without getting out of the Mako every time to kill something for the extra experience. Since the experience from level 57 to 60 is roughly the same as what you needed to get to 57 in the first place, you're basically looking at doing two thorough playthroughs.
