Yes to seeing more Rigs! Let the PC Extravaganza begin!

Norskatt: The biggies to what ya need to know about my PC is the Graphics Card rocks without costing too much, the CPU might not be top end, but it's at least good, I got 4GB of RAM, which isn't stellar but will get the job done, & the rest of thestuff is only tertiary importance for PC Gaming.

I still have my post-computer upgrades to go, but my computer is operational! Next will be a D-Link Wireless Antenna Stand thing to give me more power for my Wireless Antenna Transmission Pickup power. I postponed on getting it hoping the Antennas placed in the Card would be enough, but sadly, it wasn't. I'm getting connection, but inadequate signal that occasionally drops out for bits of time. So much for saving $30ish bucks, but I can't say i'm surprised.

Next after that is a new Keyboard to replace this years old one that has finally started showing the beginning signs of Keyboard Deathbed Syndrome.

After that, a new Monitor, Mouse, Computer Chair, Wireless Headphones, & i'm undecided on whether or not to upgrade my Mouse Pad.

Edit: Oh yeah, Celrath, i've heard that getting a large screensize without an appropriately high Resolution makes for grainier pictures. Does your Monitor experience this?

My computer is pretty run of the mill. I have an Athlon 2.4GB dual core, Radeon 4850 video card, with 750 MB ram, 2 GB of memory, 200 GB hard drive, Windows XP SR 3, and that's about it. My monitor is secondhand, and my printer was like $40 from Target. But I can play Mass Effect 2 and Fallout 3 on it on highest graphics settings, so that's all that matters.

When I get home, I'll put up pictures of my "Sleeper" machine which only costs around $600 with the current price of parts (I also have a few old items as I reuse some of my hardware). But for now, here are the specs:

Mobo: MSI 770-C45

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition

RAM: 6 GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333 Mhz (unganged, dual-channel mode)

Video: Diamond ATI Radeon HD5770

Audio: Diamond Xtreme Sound 7.1

HDD: 320 GB (298 GB after formatting) Western Digital Caviar SATA

Display: 19" Viewsonic VX1935wm (1440x900 max res.)

Media: Pioneer DVR-111D

Keyboard: Logitech Wave (corded)

Mouse: Logitech MX400 Performance Laser Mouse (replaced my Logitech MX500 Optical Mouse due to ME2's horrible scanning optimization)

PSU: Master Power 450W (this PSU has been through 3 motherboards)

This is pretty much how I dreamed what my computer would be like when AMD talked about the 5000 series and Socket AM3. The only thing I bought for this machine were the motherboard, CPU, and video card. For video, I originally bought an XFX Radeon HD5670 which was a complete dud. I almost wanted to buy the MSI version but then I decided to spend a little more and get something I can rely on working out-of-the-box. My brother gave me his DDR3 sticks and I swapped mice with my mom's just so that I can get smooth scanning.

The front, upper side, & rear Case Fan came with the Case as part of the Case purchase. They might not be the best, but it's a nice change of pace to have stock stuff come with something that doesn't suck. The Model of the 'Came with Case' Case Fans is a mystery. They're not listed in the Case's Spec Info & all attempts to id them on my part failed. Still much better than with CPUs. They seem to always come with Stock CPU Fans & Thermal Grease/Paste that are better thrown away then used if the computer is gonna be used for anything more strenuous then Web Surfing & Bill Paying. The lower side Case Fan, i've already specified. I got it & the Case (& every other part of my build except the RAM & OS) on NewEgg. The COOLER MASTER Fan came in blue, & NewEgg didn't have any of the same model in alternate colors, but i'm big on Blue, so I wasn't curious about researching alt color equivalents, so I dunno if there are any or not.

My only non-blue Case Fan is the one in my PSU that came with it, that one's Red. A strong red beating heart in my blue beast!

Edit: Almost forgot, Click on my Case Link to go to NewEgg, & make a Search on my Case. It has siblings with different color schemes if ya don't like the one I used. They also come with Blue Case Fans, but they can be removed & replaced with the desired color if ya can find them & get a hold of them.
