I think scale isn't out of ten I believe it is 8.9 right now. The scale changes as better parts come out.

You are correct sir, my mistake.

Processor: i7 (leave mine overclocked 3.5Ghz)
Memory(RAM): Corsair 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz
Graphics: XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1GHz Black Edition
Processor 7.6
Memory 7.9
Graphics 7.5
Gaming graphics 7.5
Primary hard disk 7.9
Built mine around this time last year, as of now the graphics is the weakest component in the rig waiting for the new Range of ATI cards to be released (next month I believe?) but my main monitor only goes as high as 1680x1050 resolution, so it's adequte for now.
If you want to really increase your score i highly advise getting yourself a decent SSD, I currently use two OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB in RAID 0, but by having them in RAID i now lose TRIM support, it's worth looking up for yourself, just store all your crap on a 1tb drive like most people do and get a big SSD for windows 7 install & any of your favourite games at the time to go on and they load instantly i.e. Crysis at maximum takes literally six seconds to load.

Jiggasaurus: I don't know much about SSD's, & wasn't aware of them at the time of the build. Maybe I can manage one next build. (I hate being poor.)

Phoenix (it's on the milk crate)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5 GHz
8 GB DDR2-800 RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 280 1 GB
2x 24” BenQ monitors on DVI (1920x1200 each, 3840x1200 total)
ASUS Xonar D2X soundcard (connected to 100w stereo, also note the colors on the wall behind the system)
WD 6400AAKS hard drive (640 GB)
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit (plus others in VMs, pictured with Crunchbang on the right)
ASUS P5E-VM DO motherboard (microATX, Intel Q35 chipset)
Logitech Wave
Razer Copperhead (blue)
When I built it, the motherboard died the next day, so after I sent that in and got it back, I decided to name the build Phoenix. In July 2008, I used EVGA's step up program, and sent in my previous 9800GX2 for the current GTX 280. Sadly, at present, the card is being RMA'ed due to horrendous crashing issues involving magenta screens. I guess it knows what it feels like to have it's spleen torn out.

Toilet
AMD Athlon64 4000+
2GB DDR400
500GB IDE boot drive
2x 2TB WD20EARS hard drives
Gigabit NIC
Radeon All In Wonder 9600xt 128mb
Xubuntu 9.10
15" CRT
It's my everything server, pretty fun stuff because I'm a programmer. While in college I lived with the RA, who got all the stuff other people left behind when they moved out. This thing would not boot properly, and the case it was in was literally falling apart. He said that I could have it if I gave him the hard drives. So I got it running nicely. This is named after a machine in LoadingReadyRun's Installation Anxiety.

ASUS P6T motherboard
Intel Core i7-920, quad core, 2.67 GHz
Nvidia GTX 260 (216 Shaders), 1GB (I forget which company I bought it from)
4GB - Corsair XMS3 1333MHz DDR3 (I just got another 4GB a week ago that I need to install)
1920x1200 16:10 monitor (I can't remember the brand or other details off the top of my head)
Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit
No sound-card or sound system because I am too cheap for that. Sometimes my monitor gives me trouble with flashing black but I think this was an overheating issue I corrected. For some reason the fan on my GTX-260 doesn't automatically increase it's speed at a fast enough rate, so I set it manually now.
