Id agree but somehow, based on ME2 planets, I know you would land, walk a block, maybe see a building, and be done!

Perhaps the final battle fought on Earth?

Odds are, if the final battle is taking place on earth, it will happen in orbit.
Now if the first battle was on earth... now that has potential. I can see it now... Shepard and his team (Or what remains of them) are still patting their backs when they get news Earth has been deep fried.
That would get EVERYONES attention.

That would be cool. I thought seeing earth from the moon in ME1 was neat.

Going to Earth to kick Reaper squid-butt would be pretty epic, along with some architectural landmark crashing down. Yeaaahhh... explosions...

I think I remember BioWare saying that they'd put Earth in the third one. I mean, what's the point of putting the setting in the far future, and not showing what Earth looks like in said future?

There's isn't a Sears Tower anymore now... They stupidly renamed it the "Willis Tower," after the Willis Corporation from England bought out Sears' office space in the tower.
...Although everyone in Chicago still calls it the Sears Tower, and U.S. Cellular Field is still "Comiskey Park."

I want to go to earth, fly around in a Shuttle until i reach the 3000 People village i grew up in and then i want to visit my House and see my Decendants playing "Elderscrolls 65" where they have a character run into a House that looks exactly like my House now because by then our Present has become something like the medieval Past we see in todays "fantasy" games.

I´m also betting the final battle will be defending Earth. They said they wanted Earth appearance to be big, and after ME2 we know humanity is th Reaper´s target.

I'll be extremely surprised if that's NOT the case, although I quietly hope it's not over New York or Los Angeles. One can dream.
I'm not thrilled about Earth at all, and how the humans are treated in ME. I mean, the second game spent a lot of effort explaining how humans are speshul snowflakes, despite sometimes talking completely out of its arse (genetic "diversity" anyone?). Dunno about you, but I indulge in space exploration fiction to see strange new worlds, see the universe from alien perspectives and get away from Earth for a while, not to receive asspats and hear how PepsiCo will soon own everything anyway.

If we do come to Earth, I'd be interested to know where we'd land. I predict a few things have happened. Right now, the USA is one of the most powerful countries. Somewhere inbetween the first contact and now, China took over and then USA regained power again, hence all these chinese names we see (Ex. Emily Wong.)
