I just got Mass Effect and whenever I enter conversations with people, the voice volume is extremely low, to a point where I'd have to crank my volume up to maximum on my speakers and settings to hear anything, however all other sounds in the game work just fine(so far). I'm running the steam version of the game, and, if it matters, I have ventrilo running in the background as well.

If you have a sound related problem posting your audio specs helps. What soundcard and speakers do you have?

I altered the Bioengine.ini for channels, fixed the problem.
