I have seen a few posts regarding killing blows and realized i have not seen a single one so far?

Do you have to be playing the character that does the kill to see it?

Playing a mage currently

no you dont have to be playing as them to see it.



any time you notice a head get chopped off or a few extra swings with a sword where there shouldnt be thats one of your partys doing a killing blow



i saw plenty of them playing as my mage just not from my mage.



leliana and alistar both jumped on ogres every once in awhile and chopped off alot of guys heads.



leliana also mounted the high dragon in my game

Ok, i have seen a couple heads lopped off. I thought there was some big cinematic or something

boss get a sort of cinematic. Like against an Orge you end up jumping on them and time slows down for a sec. Really cool.

you c an't imagine my excitement, but i'm fishing for xp to get alistair and leliana geared in warden commander and dragon amor outfits and myself in the mage amor so that we will be able to handle the high dragon.
