to recruit thane.Instead of slaughter mercs again and get that crappy cutscene, it would be great if some of the actions in Mass Effect really matter. So if shepardt did the mission to kill her sister,he could contact, meet and maybee also save her.

I definitely wouldn't mind trading Thane in for someone else much like I did for Samara.

Meh, ... if anything, I'd like to shoot her myself. Thane is cool.

His flashbacks annoy the hell out of me. I'll admit though that he's alright. His loyalty mission stands out too.

I agree.
She was very rich and had good connections. If i had to choose between thane and her, i would easily kill him if that should be necessary.
It also funny that thane even doesnt have any specific role in the suicide mission.

actions that matter....?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...OH GOD....BWAHAHAHA

Kid, you're allright!

No, I troll, I troll.

In all honesty I was a little dissapointed that there wasn't more creativity with that scene. Especially since that was the misison that was shown X to the power of 8 million times at different conferences and on various websites.
The ability to save her, get to her first, or even take her out before Thane would have been nice. Even alternative routes to get to her, I think she deserved a little more scene time because her ME1 quest had such a lovely twist and was a lot of fun.

I was kinda surprised she died no matter what. I wanted to send her to Omega to be Aria's boot washer.

Am I the only one who thinks destroying someone's pride and self-image is better than killing them? I suppose so...

I never understand why people hate her. Her sister was a slaver and there was nothing wrong to kill her.Especially for someone with a colonist background.

Well in ME2 they rampted up the evil a bit to give Shepard an excuse to raid her building and to make Thane a sympathetic murderer for hire.

Did you see what she does to her workers?

Yeah she got away a bit too easily. I would have prefered to give her to Liara. That way her skills and resources would have been used for something more constructive.

Yes. Complete and utter bull**** writing. Why someone would kill off his workers?

If they are in the way, the rooms you find them in would be good enough to get them out of the line for the mercs.

You obviously know nothing about paranoia.

She may not have assigned her Mechs to kill them, she probably just lowered the Friend or Foe designation programm to ensure Thane wouldn't just mask himself through the whole building. Like giving thm a black or white vision: Mercs=Good, everything else=kill. After all, the Mercs did not just outright shoot them.

And Thane's flashbacks really are somewhat annoying. Would have been better if they did a similar thing like the Beacon-Visions, flashing pictures around while Thane says what he says. Would have been awesome compared to the current spotlight-monologue.

No. The other guy. The one who stole Wrex's family armor.

He appears to have risen from the dead. Intriguing. I suspect husk technology.

And that's a very good suggestion lovgreno.

I dont know. All thane have to do it to put a merc uniform on him to trick the mechs.( a builtin device in the armor for friend or foe detection??)
It was never explained how that works.

I was hoping no one picks on this, since it is the only flaw in my theory, ... well so much for that one.

But I'd like to emphasize that though Nassana's sister was indeed worth the bullet, killing of one's own sister and lying to a Spectre to achieve one's desired outcome is not really nice either. Given that harsh method and the fact that we know little about her, it seems not unlikely for her to use force on others to achieve her goals aswell, as stated by the Asari that helped us and Thane.
Plus, paranoia really can mess with one's head.

You mean like liara and other people on illium? This seems to be business as usual in this place that even allows slavery.

Its interesting that Bioware also cuted the line:"So this assasin, are you going to stop him.

Should he go away with that?"

Seems that were was an alternative planed but cuted because of the "badass cutscene".

ME! I really liked Nassana, in the first game she was such an interesting character...and then in the second she seemed like a completely different person. I wish there was an alternative - to prevent Thane from killing her =/
