I receive this error message whenever i try to log in.

I have tried this about 30 times over the space of about 3 hours!

I am connected to the internet and have no firewall issues etc...

Please can someone advise?

Yeah, the message is annoying. If however this is NOT about your trying to activate DLC but just not able to upload profile-data to the DAO server I'd say ignore it for a while.

I bought the version including all of the online content on Steam. I can get into the game and actually play it but i can't login as it always states that it can't contact the servers. I have an EA account. My email address is alpinelegend@hotmail.com. there is not a problem with my connection or firewall etc...



Please can someone assist as i am not getting what i paid for here.

Have the same annoying problem..

I have the DLCs so i also believe that this error messages are because the game is constantly updating the server.. why not limit the update server to when you exit the game ?? i can live with the fact that no update occurs in the 2-3 hours of gameplay..

Alpine, I don't think some of these people are understanding what you're saying. I'm having the same problem as you: I am unable to log in AT ALL also. When I try to log in, it just sits there for 5 minutes saying "Contacting the dragon age servers" then after 5 minutes it says "Unable to contact the dragon age servers - please try again later." I like you am not running a single firewall or virus protection type program, and am running XP SP3. I have tried every single suggestion that I've read on the forums for various issues concerning downloading DLC and none of it fixes it. I have no idea what the problem is. So glad that Bioware is actually helping us with these issues... oh wait.

That is indeed exactly the same problem as me. Did you buy from steam?

Got the exact same problem here with the box retail version. Tried everything from disabling firewall to opening the router ports and its still happening very often

i cant connect and it sucks, no help from anyone. ive even called long distance help twice and they kept me waiting, told me they would contact me with help, and didn't twice. really frustrating, and im actually dissapointed bw would make a single player game with some online functionality (5 development years with 2 delays) this weak in aspect to connections. Unacceptable, this is the first peice of software that i havent been able to connect to the servers ever. Ill tell you this does NOT bode well for their rpg coming out next year.

Well right now I can log in, but I can't load my save game cause it says it has DLC that I'm not authorized to use such as Memory band and Wardens Keep... which is BS cause I paid for this stuff. And server errors like this that prevent me from playing my SINGLE PLAYER NON MULTIPLAYER game is pissing me off.

hey all i got that message too all the time i get looged out but tha game log´s me ind again,

it is not so great in the mittle of a fight , when game freeses and that message comes on.



another thing to you guys that cannot log in at all :



try oppening the daupdater before you open the game,

i had som troubles on my laptop, after i installed the game first on my g ami´n machine,

but i just opened the daupdater then the game and that was it,

i could log in on the servers and i could get all the extras.

just remember do not opdate game before you get the extras, update the game after.
