Can't think of any artists at the moment that I despise, but in terms of songs, Kesha's "Tik Tok" and Lady Gaga's "Telephone" both test the depths of just how useless music can be.

When I was younger, I would have listed a bunch of genres that I hated, but I've since learned to be less judgmental about music. I don't categorically hate any particular genre, but there are genres where I dislike the majority of music - those would include country (especially the "achy breaky heart" kind *shudder*) rap, techno, and manufactured, formulaic pop.

The only genre that I really hate is country. I also dislike the terrible rap (A true rap song can be decent but not the crap where it is just a guy saying words that almost rhyme into a mic)and all the emo stuff.

I think rap is misunderstood a lot of times because of the image set by Mainstream artist.....real underground rap is poetic at it's best.
