When I have enough poisons/traps/bombs to require more than
one page on the radial menu, the arrow to go right does not work.  Its lit
up and all, but when I click on it there is so sound/function.  I should
also mention I had the game installed on the hard drive. Maybe caused a bug
somehow? Anyone else install their game to their xbox and get any bugs?  As a rogue I would really like to use
poisons. It is one of the major factors in causing damage as a rogue. Please
respond BioWare...

Well now I've even talked to a customer service rep who told me to post my issue on the forums, which I've already done to no avail. Therefore...

I'm seeing the same problem as well. The potions and poultices radial menu works correctly, but the poisons and traps radial menu is broken.

I have the problem too, but it seems to be intermittent. I can't quite figure out how to repro it.

I, too, have this problem. (Also, potions dials works perfectly.)



Have CE version.



Installed to HD, played Dwarf Commoner Rogue for 24 hours before really noticing this. For this playthrough I had all downloadable content (including Lion's Paw Boots).



Deleted all DA:O files from HD. Went through Dalish Elf origin using game disk and still have same issue.



I have problems using both left trigger menu settings.

Thinking tonight that I might purchase a regular edition of DA:O (my original purchase was CE) to see if I still have the same issues there. Since not many people seem to be complaining about this, I wonder if all disks are not "bugged", as it were.



Want to play, darn it, but that menu issue is quite frustrating when your primary character is a trap-setting rogue.

This Core game is the same regardless of the edition you are using or DLC, I suspect the reason fewer people are noticing this is that most people aren't using very many traps and poisons

I haven't had the problem because I don't have enough potions/traps -I'm sure most people are in the same boat. Since the programming's already done for the potions menu I'm sure it'll be a straightforward fix to get the poisons menu working just as well. Just gotta wait out that patch

I am not a programmer, but fixing menus does seem like it would be relatively easily, if only the devs find the same problem that a few of us have found.



Perhaps I will take this opportunity to play through all six origins (2 down, 4 to go) and get characters started, so when the fix/patch comes out I will be ready to go ...

I have the same problem, I have more traps & poisons than to fit in the first page of the radial menu and the arrow-icon for the next page is lit but still can't get to the next page.

- The game is installed to harddrive

- Standard edition

- Menu is toggle, but I've tried pull and hold

- DLC: Wardens keep, Stone prisoner, 2 of the 3 DA journeys items and 2 pre-order items



I really hope they get this to work soon...

That is a good question ... I have no idea.



Good to have people continuing to comment on this issue, which increases the likelihood that it will be found and patched by BioWare.



In the meantime I have sort-of abandoned my Rogue for a while and have been playing my mage ...

I'll try to stock up on more traps and poisons and see if that makes it work. If it doesn't i'll probably stick with only a few different traps and poisons and keep playing my rogue.

I have the problem as well, i'm sure it was working earlier in the game but now about 40 hours in, suddenly can't access my poisons. Really annoying, I'm a Rogue and I can't get to my 12 flasks of Crow Poison - bah!! There's no other way to do it either, you can't activate them through the inventory - PLEASE can this be fixed with the first patch, thanks BioWare. Otherwise what a brilliant game, absolutely hooked there's not enough of these RPG's on the xbox

I've had this problem, but then it kind of fixed it self. Now I can go to two pages, but can't go to three. Maybe you need a full page for the following page in order to access.....

Yeah, issues with radial menu for poisons and traps. Also, is anyone else exceedingly annoyed by the fact that stealing always breaks stealth? Fine you should be able to steal while not stealthed, but I don't think it should automatically break it either. If anything stealth should enhance your stealing talents.

Also, why is the combat initiation radius so friggin huge? A couple of the crime wave quests are impossible to complete without running around and killing a bunch of people first, because the combat radius is so huge it prevents you from leaving the area.

Oh yeah, why can't I delete saved games? There seems to be no option in the game to do this... and it's annoying.

This you have to do from the Xbox menu:
My Xbox > System Settings > Memory > Hard Drive > Games > Dragon Age Origins
