Poisons and bombs are counted; just not traps. Also, the poison-making skill is counted, but not the trap-making skill.
For example, if I put away all of my traps and have enough poisons and bombs to have *at least two* items on the second page, then it will let me scroll to the second page. However, if there is just one poison or bomb on the second page, it will not let me scroll to that page. (In this case the count is still off by one because the trap-making skill is still there.)
If I have enough poisons and bombs to let me scroll to the second page, then I can put traps back in my inventory and see everything (as long as it all fits on two pages). If I don't have enough poisons and bombs -- even if I'm just short by one -- then I won't be able to scroll to page 2, even if I add all my traps back.
So it looks like the situation is not as dire as I thought; I can work around it by keeping a wide variety of poisons and bombs (and not using up the last one of any given type).
I would hazard a guess that traps were in a separate radial menu at some point in this game's development, but then they were later merged into the poisons and bombs menu.
I hope this helps those of you who have also been having trouble with this menu.

I made a suggestion on the Playstation discussion about this... perhaps separating the traps and poisons into two radial menus? It seems like there can lots of both. In the meantime, I'm thinking of making my traps when I need them - that way my poisons will show up again on the radial menu. That's the best solution I can think of that will probably work fine for me.
That being said, I really hope they fix this issue in the game. It kind of sucks not being able to put poisons on my weapons AND have my traps immediately available.

a) removing traps
c) putting my traps back.
Then never using last one of any kind of poison or bomb (unless life requires it I guess). We'll see.

I am running the standard version of DA (not down loaded to HD), and I have the DLC (Wardens keep, blood dragon armor, stone golem, memory band and the charm).
But the most annoying is definitely the poison/traps radial menu access issue.

Yeah, issues with radial menu for poisons and traps. Also, is anyone else exceedingly annoyed by the fact that stealing always breaks stealth? Fine you should be able to steal while not stealthed, but I don't think it should automatically break it either. If anything stealth should enhance your stealing talents.
Also, why is the combat initiation radius so friggin huge? A couple of the crime wave quests are impossible to complete without running around and killing a bunch of people first, because the combat radius is so huge it prevents you from leaving the area.
Oh yeah, why can't I delete saved games? There seems to be no option in the game to do this... and it's annoying.
Offsubject FYI: When stealing while stealthed, your ranks in the stealth skill add as much to your chances of stealing success as your ranks in stealing. Being stealthed before stealing enchances your chances of stealing success.
Regarding saves: If you go into your XBox menu and dig around till you get to system memory you can delete the games there (delete all the games for a given character and the character is also deleted) It's frustrating that there's not an in-game interface for doing that when there's such a small limit on the number of characters you can have.

Anyway, it is possible to play using traps and other stuff, but limited effectiveness until they patch the problem. Gotta work with Edge of Reality for this since they are the ones who did the console versions.

Though a quick fix is to create your poisons and traps when you need them. It's a little irritating, but not game breaking IMO.

Problem is carting all the ingredients around. I usually drop off at the Keep and make everything to go to next mission.
