I used to go fishing a lot when I was younger and would get quite sick (but I have all sorts of visual perception weirdness that means I can get motion sickness at the drop of a hat and pretty much anywhere). It got much better as I grew older, but that was rivers and lakes. The last time I was on the ocean, on a glass-bottomed boat tour of all things, I was embarrassingly ill.
