@re- all the people talking about pounce/tiger/apprentice -- I can't wait to play that. It's sad, but yes, my primary goal for WH is to get closure with my dog & hear rumors about Anders That must be why he named Pounce, Pounce. He'd been saving it for just the right kitteh.





I missed Pirate Anders day I think it needs another revival. You can't have too many Pirate Anders' Days! And if that prompt isn't taken by the time the ball rolls around to me, I think I may have a tiny bit of an idea.



Today was one of those days completely taken up the RL have-to-do things, and then I finally got time to Anders & write and... felt blah. Blah writing day when you kind of go... well, this is all just sucking! I need to throw it all out and begin again! But I don't want to read the chapter before, or else that's going to suck too and start a whole domino effect of suckage. Anyway, I muddled thru all said suckage, and put it up anyway. More in light of, 'get the effing thing off my computer!" than a "horrray, i'm done!". But oh well. It all counts.



And now I will go to bed, and in 5 hours I will wake up to see lovely pictures of Anders on the thread? Right, right?

Hehehe... too awesome. I love how some of us will hit the same idea on occasion.
Awesome how he seems to be reacting to the poster on the wall.  "They have to fight NAKED?  Well that sounds horrible!"

(the pillowfight poster was actually mentioned in the last chapter of my first story. Maggie was, needless to say, not amused.)

And I am so dying to read the parallel universe story.

I've had the scantily clad recruitment poster for awhile. When you have a folder full of pictures like that, sometimes you feel obligated to do something to justify their existence (beyond me being [alistair]creeeeepy[/alistair]).

I used to have one of Naked Barbarian Brand and Mhairi fighting darkspawn at the Vigil. Brand had the Grey Warden logo on her bum (much to Mhairi's shock and dismay). I think I deleted the "poster", but still have the picture somewhere.

In her canon, I imagine that Brand and Alistair both get this tattoo (note to Alistair, don't make bets when you're drunk...it never turns out well):



When Brand isn't drowning, she likes everyone (except for Garavel). In her purest/canon form she's pretty much Amoral Female Alistair, so whether one cottons onto her or not depends on one's tolerance for rampant smartassery, irreverence, nudity and horned helmets.

HA! Maggie talked Alistair into getting a tattoo, too. Theirs are both griffons, though. It was right after they did the circle tower thing and had a mutual "holy crap we could have both very easily been one of those corpses if it wasn't for Duncan" moment.

Maggie, in comparison to other characters, probably falls somewhere between a cute less-drunk Oghren and a far more ethical (with regards to killing, not sex) Zevran.

To, uh, tie it to the topic, I tend to think that Garavel is a buzzkill, so I always imagine that Anders dislikes him, too.

As my elves have yet to meet Garavel, it's the Micah thing I'm thinking of.  And I just stood up for Micah on Twitter with that same quote. Micah's awesome.
