She doesn't like him because he's a bit of an ass about elves and is way too quick to advocate for violence/destruction as the only solution. She'll kill when she has to kill, but she definitely prefers not killing if it can be avoided.

Do you mean how he refers to Micah as "the other one".  Or does he have more snooty things to say about elves?

<3Micah "I like eggs"

As my elves have yet to meet Garavel, it's the Micah thing I'm thinking of.  And I just stood up for Micah on Twitter with that same quote. Micah's awesome.

Micah's obviously the brains of that outfit....

Anders asks Buntie if he can go to Orzemmar with her. He's heard rumours about kilts and knee high socks that he's not happy about:

I never thought that was an anti-elf thing. Just an anti-slightly-unhinged-person thing. Huh.

And to get some more Anders in here...

More facebook amusement. Poor, poor Nathaniel

Nathaniel is very long suffering as the only person in the building with any concept of responsibility or proper manners.

Here's one that ends a bit better for him.
Oghren does not understand surface card games

(also? in my fic and head-canon Nathaniel and Sigrun are totally a thing. Since opposites attract on occasion. and the 'cheer up'/ 'you're too chipper' thing seems so flirty to me. I know about the Velenna banter but didn't hear it until I'd long since decided on Nate and Sigrun since she Velenna did little more than warm the chairs at the keep)

Nah, I don't reckon Nate and Velanna would have worked out. She's a bit too crazy for him in the "I like to kill humans" way. And I'm so going to spend ALL DAY on the facebook generator. A new way to waste time! Hooray!

Oh, and Surely, for some reason that picture you uploaded for me doesn't show up - so I'm sure it's fabulous but I can't see it and I'm dying of curiosity :(.

That's cute.

I approve of Sigrun and Nate..the Velanna thing was just him getting under her skin.  She needed someone to not take her too seriously.  That's his version of that....and yes I live in my own little world and I'm happy in here.

It's not that awesome, just a recycled Anders looking ridiculously hot (with Lampost in Winter).

Sigrun can only be with Ron Mahariel, I've decided. I've even thought of a way to work him into my next fic.

Also, that facebook thing is evil. I just spent 20 minutes putting one together only to lose it to the angry internet gods. Oh, well. I'm sure I'll be inspired to do another Let's Sex Ambush Nathaniel! thing later.

I shall just have to imagine ridiculously hot Anders instead. Oh wait, I don't need to do that, I have downloaded the Picture... :).

Working on my "smell" prompt. It's surprisingly difficult not to make it incredibly dark. I must get all my dark Anders stuff out in my one-shots. I suppose it's because in my books all the dark stuff he goes through is in the past, and the present is actually pretty darn good for him.

Velanna who? (She, uh, had an accident in my last two games).

You just wait. My next fic is going to be unbearably fluffy. Actually, it won't be but it will still be pretty damn sweet.

And I've rewritten my Sight prompt like five times. I have a solid premise, I think, but it either wants to be too weird or too serious. Sometimes I wish I had taken Smell, since I could give him the same broken brain I have, and he, too, would be able to go around confounding people by telling them that their name smells like earthworms.

She's clumsy for a Dalish isn't she?  Must be tripping over those tree roots she keeps conjuring up.

I've become addicted to dying everyone's armour black.  Anders in black chasind....hmmm....

I have the smell prompt too, and my muse is taking me strange places too.  (although dark isn't exactly what I'd call my muse's wanderings, heh).

It'll be fun to see what each of us does with our version of it.  :D

I feel like I've been doing the same thing with a lot of my prompts.  The last one for here especially (well, the one I posted to ffnet only since I spent too long on it).  I've never had so many people message me just to tell me I made them cry before.
Actually, I don't think I've ever had anyone tell me I made them cry before.  Laugh, yes, cry, not so much.

I had to make mine for LJ much more fun in response to that.  I figured Anders deserved to have a happy evening getting laid.

I've been having far far too much fun reading everyone's facebook entries at work today! People are going to think this Monday has finally broken me.

The recruitment posters? Tooo much funny!

Allso - Nate & Sigrun are always together in my head. Well, unless my Warden is stealing him away for evil purposes. Someday I may be nice and write something redeeming for Velanna... but not any time soon.

I'm wondering if this is something to do with the format - short fiction lends itself to explore motivations a bit more than long fic does.

All right, this picture is COMPLETELY responsible for both my latest chapter title as well as a drunken discussion between Anders and Maggie.

Maybe.  I think, in my case, it's that I don't want to write something completely angst-filled all the time, but every once in a while it's nice to have a change of pace.  I can't really slip into angst in my long fics, but a one shot from a different POV would allow it.  It just gives me a chance to experiment with a different mood and style from my usual.

Teehee, Maggie's got nothing on Rhiamon.

I'm beginning to think I actually made Neria completely repressed. All Anders' other women are such... FLOOZIES!
