I had never played Awakening as a male, but as a female you can flirt with Anders AND Nathaniel. However, not as intense as in Origins (we all wished it could be. Alas)!

dam males were getting no love in Awakening, velanna turned out to be a psycho.  Nate and Anders were better in a number of ways.

(admittedly I'm so not a musical theater person. Cabaret is about as far as I'll wade into that genre's pool in terms of just listening to it. Although Wicked was great fun to see on stage, and had amazing sets and costumes. It is bizarre considering how many nights I've spent in gay bars and how many of my friends are drag queens.
