I'm sorry to barge into this lovely thread, but I gotta ask, is this mod worth it? I <3 Jowan and I always hated how him being a companion was taken out of the main game. How does the recruitment go here? Is it done after Eamon is cured? And is the voicework at least decent?

No idea, actually.  I'm just getting to redcliffe and I do know it's after Eamon's cure, so I'll see from there, I guess. 
I don't believe it's voiced, but I know that's a hope for the future.  It's a work in progress.

The dialogue now is... fairly sparse and not really in character (I have the toolset files).  I'm rewriting it all as soon as I give it a playthrough or two, though.  It's very serious.  Jowan's got a great sarcastic streak that really needs to come through.  But, like I said, I'm redoing that bit.

So... that answer was a whole lot of uselessness.

I just checked the nexus page again and it doesn't mention VO at all, not sure why I thought it had any. It's better that way in my view, no need to ruin Jowan with a terrible voice. Boy, there is some delicious irony in that statement given everyone's thoughts on Jowan's voice. 

So, are you working on the mod as well? If the dialogue is OOC then it's good that you're fixing it. I guess I'll keep checking this thread to see if you post any updates on it.

Funny, our programmer at work looks like Anders, but with short curly hair and in glasses. And his character is totally different. (And he's married, don't ask for his photo)



And SmaiLika told me she thinks Anders looks a bit like Faramir from LOTR. We must search for more Anders' twins. )))

There's a guy who works for our Dean of Students who looks like Anders, but he's a little shorter than me (about 5'8").

My favorite college boyfriend was Anders-esque. Same face shape, smirk, ponytail and earring. His personality was even similar- flirty, smart, punny and he loved cats. He was the skinniest dude ever, though, and his nose wasn't quite right.

Agreed. They look so practical and comfy for running around and fighting things. The miniskirts in game are a bit... yeah.
