Oh, loved it Lupus. And I agree with Sarah - glad it went from depressing to happy. Happy Anders = Happy Miri.



Although I'm planning on being mean to him soon in my fic as well. Well, if not mean, then at least... a bit angsty. But only so he can be happier after.

@Avilia - Thank you! I just have this idea that he didn't have a very happy life for the most part, which is why such small things make him happy. Which tends to make my backstory bits very miserable.



@Sarah1281 - I know, I realized as I was editing. The ending I liked, and was totally something I came up with watching an old episode of star trek next generation where the officers all played cards, but the beginning is so miserable.



@Miri - Thank you! Although all these comments are making me think of a milion jokes about happy endings... <oghren> heh. get it? </oghren>

yep.  Took me half an hour and I came up with a way to make the most utterly angst filled bit from this.  Maybe I should use it, it would be in keeping with all my prompts lately, apparently.
(No idea what's wrong with me.  Maybe I need my happy pills upped...)

Also.  I want to write about Anders but Zevran has grabbed my muse by the hair and dragged her along behind him on a quest to annoy Alistair.

And I'm glad about Dostoevsky too, he was my favourite part of school program. I had similar situation with Jane Austen: I thought she was boring until I took a dictionary and read her in original language.
