*gets out the flaming torches and pitchforks for the fanfic thread*

Oh wait, I agree with you. *puts them away again*.

Edited to add: Man I have a TOP virus at the moment. Not that I'm complaining!

Oooh, one of my favorite top of thread pics! :D
That's my lock-screen wallpaper on my phone!

I had to post once more, I couldn't stop myself. What Dean said was so absurdly out of line and uncalled for, for so many reasons.
And I managed to work both the phrase "sh*t poetry" and the word "rimj*b" into my reply, so that's fun.

Sandtigress took my flaming torch and pitchfork away from me, so I can't do any rampaging.

@Avilia & Lupus Thanks!

I now want to work r*mjob into every email and tweet I write today. But I shall restrain myself.

Tempting, isn't it?

I want a t-shirt that says "Chaucer invented the rimj*b" now, for my collection of English-major-geek shirts.

Hmm...

Isn't it awesome? They're not as good as silkscreen, but they've gotten so much better in recent years.

@Sarah: Happy to help.  In addition to being wrong, he was totally out of line.

So far - three for me, one for hubby. I'm going crazy. It's lucky my entire wardrobe doesn't fit me any more so I actually NEED new clothes, otherwise I might be feeling guilty.

We need one that says "I didn't do it". Immediately.

SurelyForth, that was funny!

Now I just can't stop thinking that Anders needs a pretty elven lass to help him in bathing.

Hmmm, where's my Marina, I wonder...

Thanks! But, *ahem* he has Alistair's betrothed. Or thoughts of her, at least.

We brainstormed a whole, terrible soap opera for this universe. Every prompt fill I do brings me closer to Alistair's wedding, where Wynne gets shot by a mysterious bowman, goes into a coma, and everything and everyone falls grandly apart. Except for Ron and Sigrun, who are that one normal couple that every soap needs to "keep things grounded in reality."

@Gala, well, you know how you can DRAW... maybe you should put that image of naked wet Anders OUT THERE...

No hidden motive here from me. None at all. Lalalala....

Well, naked Anders deserves more than just a sketch!
And I'm currenlty distracted by shirtless wounded (and possibly dying, poor fellow) Cullen, so ser mage will have to wait for his bath or go and save Cullen.

And Mel_Redux already provided a source image and everything. Clearly this was meant to be.

Oh! To tie in with your post the other day, maybe Bathtime Fun Anders could be playing pirate! *insert booty plundering joke here*

Mmmm, he's so very naked and so very wet... My roguish muse is about to cheat on Cullen today.

BTW, I think there'll be no prompt from me this week, I just can't imagine anything funny to happen while Anders' in charge. He saved Varel when I left him to defend the Keep, and my PC failed when I left her, so he would've been awesome commander, I'm sure of it.

As far as I'm concerned, then this comic fills the prompt. First page only here, but the whole thing has a very "Anders in charge" feel.

Even wonderful commanders can have days when stuff is falling apart!

I was originally going to write total competency porn, in which Anders does everything perfectly and is basically "Huh, we had no idea you could actually do this stuff"ed to death when Varel, Garavel and Teagan return.

It was ok, though, because he had a special "Of course you were awesome, when aren't you?" present waiting for him in his room, from his secret admirer and her son.

I'm having trouble with this prompt, because I think Anders WOULD be a good commander, he'd just hate it sooo much. Still, working on it. It'll be up before Thursday...

@Miri, I was drawing that when I had no idea Varel could die. Come on, it's VAREL! He's immortal. And he was in charge, Anders was simply saving everybody :)

I have only one idea for Anders in charge and it's a spoiler for Obsession. And it's a sad story. :(

I have to quote this. ooomph!!

@avilia -- I love your Nate. And the well blowing up! That was a good idea. Poor Anders, I wanted to tell him what a good job he'd done!

@Surely -- lmao!! That was a great story for a Monday. I want more Ron & Sigrun. And much much much more of Anders in the bath.

I started a story yesterday (errr, Sunday actually for you non-West-coasters) but only got half way done before my hour was up. I finished today, but I'm not sure if I should post or not. Maybe I should post the first half, and link to ff.net. Or just post it all to ffnet. It's been such a total Monday today, my brain is going all muzzy.

But Anders pictures make it better. Yes, yes they do.

Edit: I decided just to link it. Here: A Week's Worth of Trouble

I almost extended Anders' stay in the bath, but I just did bath smut and I didn't want to seem like I had a fetish or something.

I loved your story! Competent Anders, pissing off Garavel, and sexy mage. Awesome!
