When you finish it... I'm going to read it all again and mark down my favourite bits and which chapter they're in. I was trying to find a particular bit the other day and you probably ended up with about five hundred hits on various bits because I couldn't find it.

I must ask, Tankgirly - on DevArt you have the option to download art - are you actually allowed to? I mean - it's the intellectual property of the artist - is it ok as long as you don't then try to pass it off as your own? I have downloaded a few pics (including The Picture) because I'm old fashioned and don't trust things kept on the public domain, but I hesitate to post them anywhere because I don't know what the rules are regarding that.

It's up to the artist. Deviantart did allow individual artist to choose to deactivate the download options. Some artist don't mind, some upload a small preview and stated click download to get the full picture. The option's there to prevent thief. But hey, if a thief really want to steal it, they have other ways.



I don't usually download piccies, but sweetfoxy's works are really good, I downloaded some of them (this pic and the very first pencil sketch one when she first sign on, or and Jarod Leto one...) .

Recently restart Awakening again. I was told there are certain order you must complete each quest or the bug wouldn't trigger certain quest, like Sigrun's personal quest (I never managed to trigger it). Humph...what order?

I think you just need to do her personal question before the 'Law and Order' quests from Aidan. I usually pick her up first and do her quest straight away.

Sorry - to answer your whole question (brain drain today).  I haven't had an issue with anyone's quest but Oghren.  I do the pickups in this order:

Kal'Hirol
Wending woods
Blackmarsh

I go back to the keep between zones and finish off joinings and personal quests in Amaranthine.  I don't usually recruit Velanna.

Also, whoever you get last won't be able to go through the Joining, so you might want to save Blackmarsh for last since Justice is already a Warden.

Oghren's quest doesn't always trigger since his approval is hard to get up, he doesn't have a lot of gifts and he's REALLY touchy. He has to be at like 71+ for him to talk to you about Felsi after she shows up.

Because I'm a douche I bought the feast day gifts DLC, and found out they carry over to and work in Awakenings (well, the generic "cake" and "thoughtful gift" ones do). So I bring a bunch of those over usually

Now it started to make sense, it had never crossed my mind that Justice didn't need joining...

I always managed to triggered Felsi's, got a lot of ale/wine/brewery for him along the way. He always adore his drinking buddy (all my Grey Warden drunk an aweful lot, don't know how my LI put up with me. This includes Anders, in my head)

*waves* Hello people!

I've been lurking around for a while, but I've only properly started Awakening for the first time recently. Didn't think it would be wise posting before having first-hand experience. I've cleared Vigil's Keep and recruited Nate, now trying to decide who to pick up next. I was thinking about getting Justice, as my party is currently lacking a tank, but my Warden is pretty much indestructible, so I guess it's not that much of a priority. Also, considering what the above posts say, I might want to get Sigrun first.

Anyways, I thoroughly spoiled myself before starting, as I usually do, and, just as I expected...Anders is ten kinds of awesome.  In fact, the following scenario happened several times during my rescue of Vigil's Keep:

-Warden enters room. Sees enemies.
-Warden pulls out her swords. Notices that one enemy is paralyzed.
-The next instant, another enemy is twitching around because of Crushing Prison.
-None of the other squaddies have even entered the room yet. A third enemy gets Winter's Grasp-ed.
-Warden turns back to Anders. "Dude...O.o"
-After the battle is over, Warden has to pull out her letter from Zevran to remind herself that she shouldn't be staring at sexy apostates who can insta-cast.
-Warden stares anyway and mentally curses Zevran for having run off to Antiva, leaving her defenseless against magical charms.

In a way, it's probably a good thing that they didn't make him roman-...Aw, who am I kidding? No, it's not a good thing.

I've played the Origin so many times I think I lose count. Played the Awakening about 5 times, but all in the same companion pick up order. This is the first time I tried it differently to see if I can activate Sigrun's personal quest.

I think I'll just play it safe: pick Sigrun up first and leave Justice for last. Probably gonna have to get inventive with the tanking at some point, but hey, it's a challenge!

Speaking of combat, how do you guys usually spec your Anders? I've been toying with the Spirit Healer/Keeper/Battlemage idea, but I'm not sure whether that would be of any use. I know Arcane Warrior tanks rock, but I'm not sure how much work that would take. Besides, I'm not sure whether it would impair Anders' healing capabilities.

Don't want to use Blood Mage, purely for storyline reasons.

I usually let the computer do all the work, apart from giving him Spirit Healer/Arane Warrior/Battlemage specialty at the beginning. Also I hate the idea of changing him into any other outfit then what he wore at the beginning, so unless he was very smexy looking in it, I wouldn't do a thing.



My f!ME character romanced Alenko exclusive and treat everyone else as best buddy. Garrus is cool but not my cup of tea. But I am so glad we share at least two (and soon will be three?) LI Camps here. XD
