I don't think it's so much desperate as having very flexible standards. As in "Conscious?" "Willing?" "It's a go!" (We all know guys like that. And usually they're not bad looking, either. Just... really really easy. Strong believers in any sex is better than no sex.  Or maybe that's just my friends...)

That Arylas is hilarious. To me it perfectly sums up their relationship. I always imagine Nate sighs a lot when Anders is around.

Awake. Finishing chapter. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, though.

This one might have actually been harder to write than the last one.

But it ends with a far less miserable Anders.

I know a few but don't think they all have an BSN account or all devoted to Anders, not as much as we do.

Will keep hunting...
While we are scouting...

Oooh, I like that picture -- shirtless Anders, the coloration, shirtless Anders. (and Pounce!)

I'm always up at this time of night -- I should move to Australia, maybe then I'd go to sleep like a normal person. I know things are getting bad when someone wants to meet at 10am and I'm like... isn't that a little early? How about 2pm?

I can never find any new pictures to share, but I feel like we haven't seen this one of Gala's in a while (and I love it) (and it's nighttime here, so boxers are appropriate)

@Sabreene, boxers are season appropriate in Southern Hemisphere, we are in summer here! XD

I feel like we're in perpetual summer here. When it dips below 70 people break out the sweaters and jackets, and try to pretend we have seasons.

Of course -- I'll take any reason to put Anders in boxers!

Question. Anders. Namaya (the elf who starts his quest).
Did he? Or didn't he?

Because if he did, a fugitive mage is more desperate than I thought.

And yep, that's as far as my contribution goes.

I missed a KoP drive by? And when I've been playing ME2 and thinking about you every time someone mentions TIM? *sigh*

For what it's worth, even though it's like a year too late, I think Anders just really, really likes women in general. It's not desperation, and it's not even about being a man****. It's just...women are awesome and he sees awesomeness where other men might not.

Of course, I've convinced myself that Namaya chose to help him because she wanted to help him, rather than him just flat out using her to locate his phylactery. I am totally ok with him nailing unfortunate looking women because that's what he does. I'm less ok with the idea of him seducing unfortunate looking women so they'll help him out because it's an assy thing to do.

@Avilia, @Sarah, I love your stories! They had set a perfect mood to work hard, sad/dark stories do that to me.

I guess my own response to the prompt will be my escape from it. I was challenged by my own husband to improve backgrounds in my comic, sooooo it will eat every second of my time which hasn't been eaten by my job yet.

@sabreene, when you go to Australia, please, take me with you! :D I want an endless summer, cute animals and adorable accent! (wow, that sounded almost like Anders' "pretty girl" line )))

@Gala, you probably shouldn't come to Australia, because I'll kidnap you and put you in a room to draw Anderses for me. Mwahahahaha!

Also, did you know that our animals are the stupidest animals in the world? Scientifically proven!

No predator in this region in the early days results in silly reflex animals.XD

Yeah, Gala, come to Australasia. Draw Anders for us!

What? Awww, but they are the cutest! And can't eat you. The cutest animal we have is a tiger, but they live far-far to the east. Probably in your time zone, by the way :)

Is anyone else doing the Knickerweasels prompt? I have heaps of ideas for solace but they're all UBER depressing.

Everyone has a better accent than me.

<-- upstate New York accent. Sounds like someone from Wisconsin with a head cold.

And I want to do the prompt, but I, too, am on the misery-train with ideas. So, not quite sure. My normal fic has been miserable enough as it is as of late.

Would it make everyone jealous to say my accent is almost exactly like Claudia Black's? She grew up in my town :).

It gets broader the cruder I'm being though. And recently I've been reclaiming all the old Australian curses. Strewth! 'ken oath mate!

@Gala - they don't eat you because they haven't realised you're made of meat yet :) And koalas are VICIOUS. One scratched my arm when I was little. They make hideous squalling noises too.

Heh... we have basically the same accent.  Buffalo's a linguistic anomaly, despite being in the Northeast we have the accent of the upper Midwest..  We're a subdialect of Inland North American English (aka the English spoken around Chicago and the upper peninsula of Michigan).  None of the cities around us speak the same way, it's a very strange thing.
I have noticed Buffalo has a stronger nasal tendency than the Midwestern accent, though, and takes on a lot more of the features of the Canadian accent and phrasings than you would get in your area.  (I'm about a mile from the border, though, so it would be stranger if we didn't.)

And Miri... yes, very jealous.  I sound like Hillary Clinton with a head cold.

It would make me jealous! And the coolest movies come from Australia. And some of the cutest guys, too!

I just have the standard boring Los Angeles accent. Michelle Phieffer went to my sister's highschool.

(But not to mine. Because my sister is the baby of the family, asking to go to the cool HS about a mile from mine gets her the school, me asking got laughter

At this point I'd love an accent, just about any accent so my voice wouldn't be so flat. Unfortunately the only accent that comes naturally is Valley Girl -- which is /not/ a nice accent. Gah, being a teen in the 80's.

on topic: I <3 Anders accent.

I sound like a hilljack unless I'm thinking about it. It might be why I have such a pompous vocabulary, to make up for the fact that I sound like banjos should be jangling in the background.

I really should not do the lj prompt as my last was a flaming disaster, but I'll probably do one any way.
