My theory with Namaya is that he just doesn't care. And she would help him. But, mostly, it's the not caring.

I actually feel a little bit sorry for her because, even if he didn't just straight up use her, she obviously thinks he did. Does she warn the male PC about him?

She set him up with the Templars though, does that counteract the using?

Or perhaps she set up him because she felt hurt by his using?

iirc he seems, if not hurt, taken aback that she'd betray him to them.

Just did the opening of Awakenings again and didn't recruit him first off. The dialogue is great! Pity you can't level him up before beating up on the Withered though!

I've just done that too. Now he's oficially moved into the 1st place in my list of the best male chars ever! My current character is in love! :wub:

About Namaya. He seemed a bit guilty when he met her, and when Rylock ambushed us I was expecting him to say that he will hunt Namaya for this and make an elven roastbeef, but he said "Ok, maybe she was behind this. Doesn't really matter" and forgot about her. I like his lack of revengefulness actually. But I still want to cast a fireball or two on that elf :devil:

Do we know that Namaya was involved? Maybe she got fed some bad information as well.

Yes. And she has an odd nose too. And a fake tan.

I shouldn't talk, my nose is very similar :).

Yeah, she didn't seem shifty enough or arch enough to be in on it. I though she acted exactly like a woman who'd put herself out there and gotten used by a man (whether she was or not, it had to look like it from her perspective).

If she was trying to get him caught then you'd think she'd be a bit politer so that she didn't give Anders a reason not to trust her word. Unless, of course, she was always like that and so acting differently would make him suspicious.

This made me laugh way more than it should have :

By the way - I started by sending Anders away and picked him up on the roof. Much better dialogue from everyone that way. Nice.

Thankfully, I wasn't drinking anything or I would've spitted it out while laughing. The male ponytail trend, which Duncan started, sure is popular in Ferelden! But could it eclipse Cailan's hair, whose fame spreads as far as Orlais (Riordan) and Antiva (Zevran)? :lol:

I must admit I am not fond of Cailan's hair. I modded Zev to get rid of it ;-)

Hmm I wonder how Zev would like Anders hair? Zevers or would it be Andzev?

Does anders say anything to a mage who asked for the circle tower to be freed as their boon? I know he is shocked when talking to Wynne about the tower trying to get free on its own.

Not that I've noticed.

Its been a while since I've let Wynne live however, so others might be better suited to answer that ;-)

No one in Awakening seems to notice what your boon is so it could mean that they're never going to address it in the future or that they didn't want to get into all thd details of the most complicated boon in the expansion.

  BTW, it hasn't been mentioned in this thread so far, but Greg Ellis who voiced Anders, is also a singer ( here're a few links: 1  and  2), and it would have been great to have an "Anders' song" DLC :wizard:

Wow he's a good singer.  I didn't realize he was in that Star Trek movie, too.  Of course, I was kinda bored in that movie.

I saw Starlight Express in London... I wonder if I saw real-life Anders?  Cool!

Oh, sh!t! I just realized that he's prominently featured in my favorite scene in Pirates of the Caribbean (the first one). Weird.

The singing thing is funny, because MyFic!Anders sings a bit. I never really thought about him being good at it, it's just a character quirk I imagined him having. Now that I know he could actually sing...oh, the possibilities.

What I need is for a clever person to mod the male robes to fit females - I'd officially worship them. I love the bottom part of the male robes - the layering and pouch details. Oh well.../sigh

 Miri1984, Avilia, I'm glad you like it.
Actually I think Jowan and Anders didn't like each other very much, because Anders probably thought Jowan was boring, and Jowan thought Anders meant trouble. But Amell girl liked Anders because she thought he was funny and he knew cool stories and a lot of things about big cities. And Anders could like her because:
- she was a troublemaker too;
- she was a pretty girl;
- she wrote a good hand and it was easy to copy her homework :D

Anders would SOOO be capable of doing his own homework but totally never do it if he could get out of it. "Uh.... First Enchanter... I would have done it but... my cat ate it..."
