@everyone in knickerweasels
It's okay to be depressing. I think we need a little more depth. ^_^ We've been playin a little fast and loose with the funny smut.

Gah, ya'll. When I speak "Dueling Banjos" automatically starts playing.
I never met a contraction I could mangle or a 'g' I could drop from the end of a word. It would probably help if I didn't let stupid colloquialisms drop all the time. For example, today I, honest to God said, "When she gets like that, Hell, she makes me as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockin' chairs."
I mean seriously... who says that?

YOU DO. And it's awesome :). I know what you mean about colloquialisms. Today, for example, in Sydney, it's "windy enough to blow a dog off a chain."

Seriously, I don't think ANYONE likes their accent. As for Anders' accent - it's funny how it comes out really strongly on some of his phrases, but when he's being all nice or concerned you barely notice it. "Destructive forces of nature coming right up!" and "It all worked out, despite all your bumbling" are examples of when it's really strong, yet when he's worried about all the people Velanna killed it's practically neutral.

I love colloquialisms. Today my grandfather (he lives with me) was complaining about how stupid our neighbors are, and said, "He wouldn't know his tail from a hot rock." Which I thought was pretty funny. I don't think he appreciated me laughing, though :P

It's not that I don't LIKE my accent, I just don't feel like I have one. Intellectually, I know I must be it just sounds like talking to me.

And now I'm drawing a blank on colloquialisms, too...

I don't think we have colloquialisms in my area. Just blasphemies. "Well Jesus, Mary and Joesph, what crawled up your ass and died?" "Mary mother of god, what is she wearing?" "Christ on a crutch, could it get any colder out?" "Jesus H. Christ, what is wrong with you?"

Accents are funny. I grew up in inner city Melbourne and now live in Brisbane (via Sydney). So that's three states away. Until I lived here I'd have sworn all Australians sounded the same. They don't. Native Queenslanders sound very different to where I grew up. Their accent is much flatter and rougher.

We so do have dangerous animals here - hasn't anyone heard of the Drop Bears and Hoop Snakes!? Scary.

My sister makes up colloquialisms. Her favourite is "mad as a bit of string."

You know, that reminds me... I still haven't gotten my Aimo card. :(

Humph...perhaps a little reminder is in order?

*searches through emails*

It took two months from the time I sent her my screenshots for my Ali/Cousland card to come through. Just so you know. :)

You can't rush quality I suppose.

It didn't take very long for mine but I got really lucky with the timing. She did my card in July and then August was her insanely busy month.

Yeah, that's what I figured. It's been more than a month since I sent the screenshots, but less than a month since I paid. I'm just impatient. :)

Nice! Very atmospheric. I love taking shots of my mages in almost that exact same place when they return.

@Gala - I already commented on DevArt, but I'm amazed that you did this so quickly! It's beautiful.

Yum. He always looked extra smexy with the hair down.

Hey, guys. I have this idea. I saw over on Zevran forum everytime they put prumpt up, they have a lovely banner to go with it:

Like this one.

Can we do something similar, say, using The Picture to make a prumpt special banner? Would that look like copying their ideas? I just thought it look rather neat.

@Gala - That's lovely, Anders' last look back at the tower before running. Is that his first escape attempt (the one we hear about from Finn)?

That would be great Tank. I don't know how to make banners though. And I don't think the Zev thread would mind. Imitation is the highest form of flattery and all that...
