You were the last person on the list so unless someone else wants to jump in and ask for a turn then its Lupus again.

I am, I'll post it thursday. Maybe tomorrow. I had two midterms today and just stood in line for like an hour to vote, so my brain is a bit fried at the moment.

I got lucky with voting. My polling place is right across the street (literally, I can see it from my house) and I left the house at 10:23 for an 11:00 class (the school's roughly 25 minutes away) and I managed to get to class the same time I always do...seven minutes late. My brother voted about an hour before I did but they told him he was in the wrong place, sent him halfway across town, that place told him that the first place was right after all, and then he had to go back to the first place and vote. It was his first time voting, too, as he's not that much younger than I am and I think that might have had something to do with why he actually put up with all of that nonsense instead of just giving up and going home. With my schedule, I would have totally just done that.

NY is one of those places with an extra-special 'interesting' election right now in the governor's race... So I would have stood in line a lot longer than an hour if I had to.
Plus, I got to see a curse on the ballot. Seriously, one of the parties here is called "The Rent is 2 Damn High." (and they're not even the strangest on ballot. That would go to the party headed by a former madam who provided the prostitutes to our last elected governor... right before he resigned in disgrace for being caught patronizing prostitutes. Ah, New York!)
I was in class until 5:15, so by the time I got to my polling place it was me and every single person in my neighborhood with a 9-5 job. Plus, I live in a fairly high population density urban area with remarkably high voter turnout, so voting always takes a while for me. Even with three separate polling places for a ten mile square area.

(also, if anyone is a Decemberistsfan, you can get a free copy of a song from their next album on their webpage right now.)

See, we don't have a choice about lining up and voting is always on a Saturday. We lined up for two hours this year and ended up with a hung parliament.

I never had a problem when off voting. Humph...must be because I turn up early.

I live in an area with heaps of kids - it seems everyone has the same idea to turn up early :). This year my husband drove past the polling booths at 3pm and there was no one there at all. We won't be going early next time.

Of course, next time it's the state election which is going to be so much fun. Incumbent government is going to end up with only enough seats to fill a port-a-loo. Corrupt bastards.

I guess we're lucky to always vote on Sundays. Nobody would've ever gone to vote in any other day because we all work too far from home.

A sketch:

I'm trying not to forget how to draw with all that work.

We vote by mail in my state. It's a good and bad thing

Woot - I started an Anders FF for NaNoWriMo

Which means I'll be busy. Wish me luck!

The same person whose translating Blue Skies just started a Russian translation of AOA. It just makes me feel guilty for neglecting Anders.

But... I took my LAST MIDTERMS EVER today, though (Since I graduate in December!) so I can get back to my fun writing.
I seriously hate English classes with midterms. Or at least in-class midterms. I'd rather have a nice paper than have to write, in longhand, multiple essays in a class. Where I can't go back and move things around, can't spellcheck, can't anything.

(and Gala, the way you draw his collarbones just kills me.  I have a thing for them, though, I'll admit it.)

They had to have NaNoWrMo the one month my husband is away. There's no way I'll be able to do it. I'm compromising by spending at least twenty minutes a day on non-fanfic. Not that that is going very well. It's often just twenty minutes of staring at a screen.

Honestly, Anders is my muse - if I'm not writing about him it just doesn't flow properly.

@Gala more awesome Anders - you are too good to us!

THIS!
Or maybe DA in general for me.

It kind of sucks since I'm just bereft of ideas when it comes to my original fic most of the time.  And when I do have something it is, without fail, an idea better suited to Anders and Maggie.

Mmmm - that's based on one epilogue slide that you only get if you don't complete his personal quest. Still, he does disappear for two months even if you do his quest so it's still possible I suppose. *crosses fingers*

Oh, I reckon he'd survive. He's a survivor. But I was saying he disappears for two months, so it's possible those two months he runs off to sea with Isabela, gets shipwrecked in the Free Marches then comes back.

It would just kind of suck if we didn't get to see Anders BECAUSE we did all his loyalty quests in Awakenings.

TWELVE HOURS. I don't have a more angry looking Anders so I'll settle for this one:

Are there any facts in that thread or only fantasies?
I'm too tired to search for it. I hate DAII forum, people there flood to fast.
I will have to work this weekend and only Undertow update makes me happy.

@Gala I'm sorry you have to work this weekend, but I'm glad to have made you happy!

I think it would be hilarious if Anders is like Isabela in DAO. You run into him in some port tavern and can challenge him to an inane game to unlock a skill or specialization. Or you can nail him, possibly with your LI (especially if you're a F!Hawke and your LI is Isabela).

@Gala Now THAT would make buying DAII totally worth it, no matter what the rest of the game was like.

I've found this Isabela forum. I still don't like her. I hope they will give me a female version of Anders as LI for male Hawke (like Andrea). With a kitten. And Anders' long lost twin-brother as a LI for female Hawke <3 Because I can't see Anders in Hawke's company, he will miss his commander. :)

@Surely, now to make me absolutely ridiculously happy you must throw a nuke on Thedas and make Brand, Anders and Bryce be saved by aliens :)
