That's always the best when you're doing something completely at odds with the smut you're writing/drawing. Talking on the phone with my grandmother and drawing a *clears throat* certain portion of Anders' anatomy was a little jarring.

Oh, I forgot to say earlier the end of the entire thing was just adorable. The bunched up robes and the smile/smirk exchanging was darlin'.

Edit for picture...

*nods*

When not making snarky comments and smirking, Anders enjoys reading, long walks, and that thing Maeve does with her tongue. XD

@Cave: I must admit, that portion of Anders' anatomy you drew was... extremely well drawn... *ahem*. And I so now want to do internet dating pages for all the DA characters...

@Miri

That's a talent I don't get to utilize very often, I suppose. XD

You totally should. It would be quite silly. I have a feeling that they'd have to, well, not lie, but rephrase things to not come off as total nutters.

Surly teenage Anders FTW (I love Rhiamon's speculative look here, it's totally what I'd be thinking too)

I had too much fun trying to think of the unmitigated crazy that would be maggie's attempt at a dating profile.

I should be finishing my latest AOA chapter. Since the 'plot line that is making me nervous' is in the one right after. But no, I did this instead.
Let's say these popped up on FereldenDate not long before Awakening began.

Maggie
About Me: I'm a Grey Warden. And a mage. Figure best to say that right away. I'm Andrastian, but don't go in for that Transfigurations 1:2 garbage and no, I'm not open for a debate on the subject. I have a tattoo but most of my clothes cover it. People tell me I'm funny, but it's usually not when I'm trying to be, so I don't really understand that. I'm rather patriotic.  Right now I live in the palace district of Denerim, but I'm moving to Amaranthine soon and wanted to make new friends.
Likes: Reading- epic poetry and military history especially. Dancing. Griffins (hey, dragons came back, they might, too!!). Being a Grey Warden. Dogs. Tevinter robes. Guys with long hair.
Dislikes: Circle tower. Transfigurations 1:2. Racists. Bandits. Paperwork. Anyone who refuses to recognize that darkspawn are the greatest threat to all life in Thedas.
Looking for: Someone fun who can make me laugh. Someone who isn't all hung up on chastity or commitment or anything like that. Someone who is OK with a woman that is more deadly than they are (not that I'm guaranteeing I am, not knowing who is reading this but... well, I am. Trust me.). Another mage would be nice, but isn't mandatory.
No templars (obvious reasons) or assassins (won't make that mistake again!)!

Anders
About Me: Mage and most definitely not a wanted apostate. *ahem* Not particularly devout Andrastian. I've been told I'm lots of fun and, well, I am! I'm traveling to Amaranthine soon and from there... who knows.
Likes: Stories. Cats. Reading, especially books on healing magic. Or dirty books. Tevinter robes. Traditional Ferelden cooking. Pie. Green eyes.
Dislikes: Circle tower. Transfigurations 1:2. Blood magic. People who think the Chantry has a right to imprison anyone just for being born. Templars. That bastard Irving. (My fellow mages know who I mean!). Anyone who calls my robes a dress.
Looking for: A girl who can have fun and isn't obsessed with the idea of tying people down. Someone who doesn't mind if I shoot lightning at the occasional fool. Someone who wants to join in would be even better, though!
No templars! (you'd think I wouldn't have to say that... but you'd be surprised.)

What's Transfigurations 1:2?

No templars! (you'd think I wouldn't have to say that... but you'd be surprised.)

Rylock? He means you.

This one:
Magic exists to serve man, and never to rule over him.
Foul and corrupt are they
Who have taken His gift
And turned it against His children.
They shall be named Maleficar, accursed ones.
They shall find no rest in this world
Or beyond.

According to the codexes it seems to be the entire basis for the reason the Chantry treats mages like they do.

(and he definitely means Rylock!)

I can just see Rylock reading Anders' one and having a little eye twitch. "He doesn't mean me! And if he does, I'll make him pay! In my own special way... mmm. yes..."

That woman is fifty times more crazy than Maggie.

I did internet dating ONCE and it was the scariest experience I've ever had in my entire life. You know how "on paper" someone can be completely normal.. but then... *shudder*

Of course, in my universe he did lead her on a bit so she'd let him go. It didn't work. It was really a pretty lame plan, all things considered. And I doubt the sex was worth the hassle it caused after.

I have not had good luck with the internet dating. And okcupid thinks I should date my roommate. We've been friends for a decade. If we were going to date it would have happened already!

My sister and her husband got married through the internet. I like my brother-in-law a lot, but I think she was helped by actually being interested in normal things so she attracted a relatively normal person. My internet profile had a lot of stuff on it that just attracted sad people and people with embarrassing physical disfigurations (I'm NOT kidding) so I gave it up.

Seriously, the second you put "I like video games" on a profile you might as well roll around in a puddle of pheromones that only attract the sad or crazy. Add star wars to that and, well, just keep a stack of restraining order forms on hand with your info already filled in for when the time comes.

Yup, that was me for the first 24 years of my life. Pining after normal people who completely ignored me while a trail of spotty, socially inept, greasy boys wearing shorts followed me around sighing. Luckily one of the spotty, socially inept ones grew up to be kind of hot and nice so I married him :). I'm pretty sure the others have all become multi-billionaires now.
Oh, THIS song makes me laugh:

Sweet, sweet love.

Sorry, we were talking about the morristair a few days ago on one of the artist's lifestream.

Can't help but posting this one up, by polymorphic

Here

I swear this will be the only time. I know Anders wouldn't mind (imagine he met Morrigan...), but this is his thread...

Be careful of that nipple. If a mod ever comes by, it could get you in trouble.

I checked the picture twice. It's pretty covered.

Should I change it to a link instead?

@Tank: I would, my first glance at it made me think there was a visible nipple, too. Even if it's just shadows, with two of us seeing it, odds are a random mod would see the same thing. Not worth the risk.

@Miri: hehehe! I wish I could find one of the ones who grew up and cleaned up. I just get the "I'm 35 and live in my mom's basement" types.

You know, I actually got to write about ff.net's stupid stats breaking today for my psychology class since the teacher wanted us to write about our personal experiences with some psychology words, including confirmation bias. It was kind of awesome. Posted Image

Yep, I try not to remember that as Harry Potter 7 is release today and I have no one to go watch it with me. :(

And the FFN thing, Ahah, I thought I was the only one! For a while I was convinced I must be on their black list!

I can totally see how that would work. It doesn't ALWAYS break when I update... but I always seem to update right before it breaks.

Which sucks since how often can you get away with referencing Troilus and Criseyde?

Oh, Chaucer! I love thee! I must admit that I got brought to Chaucer through Edward Burne-Jones' illustrations. They're just glorious and ornate.
