Re: Bert and Ernie, I always had a LOT of trouble with those two in Sesame Street. There's something deeply wrong going on in that house. I mean, I used to think - they're ADULTS, why don't they have their own rooms? (this was when I was about five, mind you) And what's this unhealthy obsession with birds? Pigeons and rubber ducks... there are some deeply homoerotic subtexts going on here...

What kind of problems are you having? Editing them has been working just fine for me. I did freak out at first because it didn't show them as links but rather as the url code whenever I edited but eventually it occured to me to just try and refresh it and it worked.

I hate how, if you click outside the window, editing closes. I wish there was a button to say "yes, I am done editing now" as opposed to it deciding when you just changed tabs to get another link.



Miri- you can always create the post in the window from here (or any thread), click bbcode, and then copy it and paste into the window. That night be easier in the long run.

Did you see there was another Anders smut request on tentparty... for Cullen.

I cannot figure out how to make that happen given Cullen's obvious terror of sex before he goes, you know, bat****.

So everything I can think of is Horrifying and Wrong with crazy!Cullen and I just can't go there...

At least it saves the edits when it does.

As for why only Anders-slash...well, if you're writing about someone who isn't the Warden which girl would you pair him with? Morrigan?

Actually... Anders/Morrigan would be kind of fun.

But usually kmeme requests will be more towards a specific scenario than a specific pairing, with one character specified and an origin, gender, or race request for the other sometimes. (like, the last one I filled was "Zevran, f!Warden, and Alistair OR Anders threesome." I saw one recently for "the warden's first time was awful. Let Zevran show her it doesn't always have to be that way." something like that.)



I just can't think of a way to fill this one that isn't treading close to non-con and I can't do that. But then, I can't write smut unless I have some reason why the characters are going at it. The "they were both in the same room" thing doesn't really work for me. Which is probably why even my intentional smut is like 400 words of dirty and 1000 words of jabbering and flirting.

For the Wardens first time being awful, my first thought was also non-con but my SECOND was that she was with another guy who had no idea what he was doing either and Zevran most certainly does not have that problem.

@Lupus: Desire demon Cullen from the rebellion is the only way I can see that happening. Tempted to do it for the lolz - and I'm dirty at ScaryLady now, despite her usual awesomeness.... I shall pout at her.



Actually I could see it happening but the backstory would be soo long and huge that they'd both probably be middle aged by the end of it. I was expecting people to ask for Nate/Anders (the other kinkmeme is swamped with Nate/Anders requests) and although I personally wouldn't have the pairing in my fics it works better than most.

Nate and Anders is so bizarre to me, but only because Nate seems to have such contempt for Anders throughout the game. Just completely undisguised dislike. And while I guess that would be some people's thing, I can't see Anders tolerating it.

I mean, maybe it could happen eventually, but I think it would take a lot longer than the game timeline.

Yup, I agree. But it's less... WRONG to me somehow than Anders/Cullen. That just.. no. It's like fingernails down a blackboard.



Now, Anders/Alistair was easy to write, because if one of them was a girl they would SOOO do it - it wouldn't matter which one. I'm thinking of both Gala's and Cave's excellent genderswapped Anders here:

I could definitely see bi!Cullen having a crush on Anders instead of/in addition to the female Warden (or male if he's going to be bi) and so having desiredemon!Anders taunt him could work.

That's a pretty vague requirement, though.  I mean...

Cullen sighed with relief when he saw his replacement approach.  This had been a particularly exhausting day.  One of the apprentices had managed to set a bookshelf alight, and he had a raging headache from listening to the First Enchanter scream at the instructor for allowing so many "completely irreplaceable and priceless" books to be destroyed.  To top it off, another apprentice had somehow managed to misfire a grease spell, which he nearly broke his neck stepping into,
Limping from his fall, Cullen made his way to the stairs.  Stupid Circle, why'd they have to put it in a tower, he thought, realizing he would need to go down three flights of stairs if he had any desire to eat tonight.  Halfway there he realized how silly he was being.  If there was one benefit to living in a tower full of mages it was enjoying constant good health. 
Cullen doubled back, hoping someone would be in the infermery.  It had been the smatest decision.  Just as he passed the high arched doorway his ankle decided enough was enough.  With a cry of surprise he fell forward. 
"Woah, I got you!" came an amused voice.  He had managed to topple directly into the arms of the mage on duty.  Still holding onto him, the blonde man escorted Cullen to a chair.  Cullen half-listened to a long rambling lecture about the dangers of walking on injured limbs and the foolishness of doing so in heavy armor.  Trying to tune out the cheerful voice he took a look at the man.  Huh, Cullen thought.  Didn't he escape?

Ta-da.  Technical requirement filled.
