(I couldn't resist.)
By cave fatuam
(The ladies are my Maggie from Apostates of Amaranthine, her Mae from West Young Warden, and Miri's Neria from Fractures. And yeah, it would totally be Maggie's fault. But Mae would egg her on all the while.)

Miri, well, I didn't say I didn't like the story, it's just bad for the comic. I must kill someone dear to Rhiamon now to make her miserable enough to continue.

@Lupus and Neria would totally be standing off to the side not saying anything but absolutely making sure to keep naked boys in her line of sight...

After this Mae would totally be figuring out a way to trip Cullen. Grease spell anyone? Only in the interest of helping Anders. He's her fellow mage after all. Solidarity and what not.

This is painfully adorable, considering how disturbing the text at the top is.

The text reminds me of Zev vs. Alistair stuff I'd seen somewhere. Haha, poor templars are too sexy in that armor, people can't stop dreaming about getting them out of it

*Cheers everyone on*
I'm very happy to have caused all this Anders/Cullen horror! Now to come up with someone even less likely... *thinks*

I suppose that would make Maggie Grushenka.
@Miri: That is fantastic.
And I don't think this can be not-dark. I mean, their characters are such that they wouldn't even want to have COFFEE together voluntarily, much less anything else. It would have to be an excessively screwed up situation to bring them together.

The thing I can never get over is that he's so damned NICE in the tower at the beginning. Just a really lovely person. So I'm feeling a bit bad for him at the moment in this prompt because Anders is most definitely NOT nice.
And I based Solona a bit on Maggie, I have to admit, although she's not as nice as Maggie either.

Maggie wasn't very nice in her tower days, either. It's tough to tell since, well, SHE doesn't think she was mean, and it's all through her perspective, but I put hints in there,
Jowan's comments about how guys used to come crying to him about her- he was being literal, and in the first chapter of Blue Skies she forgets her current lover's name, and then forgets she dumped him anyways (and all because he asked about their future- to which she responded "pbbt. future?! you're kidding, right?" or something along those lines. Poor bastard.)
So yeah. She wasn't a nice girl. Whatever the girl equivalent of a womanizing jerk would be, well, that was her. (man-eater? Is there a word?) I guess her equivalent for Anders to Solona in your story would have been Brennan. They defiantly had that "hot for each other, horrified by commitment" thing, and... that didn't end well. At all.

Oh, Grushenka. I had an AP English teacher in high school who was trying to describe her, and she just screwed up her face in thought, then burst out, "Girl's a Jezebel! Really."
I think that's why we did Crime and Punishment for our Dostoyevsky requirement. XD Then we all had some weird fascination with Raskolnikov. When we progressed to deciding he was hot, because we hadn't had any attractive main characters lately, it gave her fits. XD
@Miri
I'm digging it.
I do have a little Cullen-spawned guilt, because like you said he's just darling in the beginning of the Mage origin. My love for Anders being a dillhole is overriding it though.
