"Where the hammer is my...."

I adore NPH. And I've reviewed your story. And I've given you a challenge. You CAN do it. I know you can!

Ooooh, TOP. In the words of Anders "You never see that ANYWHERE."

Sakuna on DevArt. I wanted Anders and Oghren together considering the quote.

Posted Image Dr. Horrible. Since I don't regularly watch How I Met Your Mother, though, it took me until near the end of it before I could place NPH. Posted Image

First time I watched it, I kind of hated Captain Hammer. Now, it's so much fun trying to get inside his head...

Are they ever going to make that sequel?!?!

OMG Sarah, you are too young for Doogie Howser. Google him immediately, it's where all us oldies know NPH from :)

We barely had television when I was growing up, so I never saw Doogie Howser. I just remember watching Starship Troopers and being like "That's Doogie Howser? Damn." And now...awesome.

Also...prompt! It's technically Thursday here, so I'm going to lay it down now:

Anders as an Origins companion. Let's pretend Irving decided to give him a chance and sent him to Ostagar where he found himself "misplaced" after the battle.

I remember being a big fan of Hans Christian Andersen tales when I was a kid and I still don't believe in happy endings.  Ultimate sacrifice fan here :) Even when everybody is happy and married in the end of my stories, at least one person has a brain cancer.

But Anders keeps reminding me that he wants to be happy and doesn't want to die in the Deep Roads, because it's dark down there:

And I hope Hawke or DA3 hero will stop the darkspawn forever, and my wardens won't have to leave to their callings. That's why I'm not writing Andie's story -- I hope the change which is comming to the world will be a good one.:wizard:

Can explode with incoherent hormonal rage for a moment? We're all girls here, right? TEN MONTHS I managed after Miranda was born, in all a total of a year and a half period free. Tom is 3 months and GUESS WHY I'VE BEEN SO CRANKY ALL OF TODAY?

Grrrrrrrrrrr. We don't want any more kids. Bring on menopause!

Grumpy Anders is not as grumpy as me:

@Gala
I can't leave well enough alone. Whenever I have a happy ending, I immediately work to find out what can go wrong... then I make it go wrong.
Anders and Maeve all happy and snuggly together? He just had to develop emotional claustrophobia and need to run off every couple of months. XD

@Miri
That sucks. I hate it when you're just cranky and upset and you can't do anything about it. You're just in a sour mood without any catalyst besides evil wicked hormones.
My mom warned me about your cycle returning to normal quicker the more kids you have. She swears her body was just trying to purge itself of eggs, so that it would just be over. XD

@Miri: If you're not planning any more kids look into an IUD, I've got a couple friends who went that route (the hormonal one- Minera or something like that) and they don't get periods anymore.

Granted, I accomplish the same thing with Nuvaring, but I should be quarantined like a freaking werewolf at the full moon when I've got PMS otherwise.

@Cave: I am so tempted to share the link to the sketches you sent me since I seriously cannot decide. They are so freaking awesome. :D :D :D

@Lupus & Cave Hubby is getting the snip. Soon. Which doesn't help if I decide to run off and be unfaithful, but really WHO HAS THE TIME? srsly?? Who does? If I had the time to have an affair I'd use it to do something else. Also PMS for me isn't such a huge deal. I get cranky for a day and then it's all "Oh, that's why!" and everything is ok.

I'm in a rage because I was counting on, you know A YEAR without them because that's what happened last time. Also in a rage because I had to do all sorts of things to get them BACK when we were trying for #2 and they've just waltzed in after a few freaking WEEKS this time and said "Oh HAI, you don't needs us no more but here, have inconvenient emotional outbreaks and light headedness for a week ON US.

You know, I feel a hell of a lot better now. Thanks for letting me vent.

@Lupus Tank finished a preliminary sketch of Neria for me and OMG OMG OMG I cannot wait to show everyone when it's done. Also, Soignee is doing one for me after Christmas and ... and .. *is incoherent with excitement* and then there's Cave and I've sent off the request for Aimo and and and...

Commissions make me happy.

It's like, I could be unfaithful...or I could take a nap. Hmmm... Nap it is.
I'm a holy terror for one day a month. Just one. But on that day, I am capable of fathomless, passive aggressive evil. Then I cry... then I just eat a lot and lose two pounds. What is the evolutionary benefit of that I ask you? XD
Anyway, I'm glad the venting helped.

I'll probably have a few rough thumbnails for you tomorrow evening.

I am a raging, hormonal, psychotic wreck without meds. Like, typical day:
Oh, a hallmark commercial is on...and the old lady didn't get mail and *sob for two hours*
Roommate asks why I'm sobbing: YOU SON OF A **** HOW DARE YOU JUDGE ME I WILL END YOU
roommate backs off in fear, cat comes to see what's going on: OMG, it's the cat! Hey kittykittykittykittykittykitty love you kitty! here's your laser pointer!

And it'll go on for like four days.

And go look! Give me advice since I am indecisive and love them all! some are nsfw

There's a daycare where I work and the fax machine is of course down the hill in that building. So wibbly, hormonal-mess of a gal me tromps down the hill and all but weeps because the kids are cute, but then I think that there are kids that are cute that don't have nice places to go, and it's not fair, and it's bad, and *gasp, sob, cry*
Then I go hide in my office and cry and do the payroll. Nothing goes together better than low level accounting and wracking sobs. XD

I am reminded of this SNL sketch

I'm torn between 3, 4, and 5 so it seems like we have a rough consensus.

*debates getting one color and two b&w*

*wonders which should be color*

Hehe, I never had A YEAR without them, no matter what the textbook said. As soon as the youngling's out and it's back. Annoy me to hell.

And Miri, thank you. You might need to be patient a little bit, as it's the festive season at the moment, I need to find time here and there to get it done.

@Lupus That sketch? Hi larious!
I tell you though, PMS was nothing compared to the first four weeks of pregnancy. It's how I knew I was pregnant with number two. Hubby could ask something as innocuous as "What are you eating?" and it would be ON. I think I actually told my mum to f!ck off (which is an ENORMOUS deal, if you know my mum).

It's a good thing Maggie and Anders can't have kids. There's an interesting idea - wardens with PMS...

ETA @ Tank absolutely no rush - Im amazed you got the preliminary sketch done so quickly.

Since I'm going on the theory that Wardens are really irregular and get more irregular and less frequent the longer they've been wardens, I could totally give Maggie a PMS week in Blue Skies...

Poor Zevran...

(right now 3 is the front runner for color. Because in my mind the booze is blue and if you saw the whole room there would be broken furniture all around them and maybe a small fire or two.)

Ferelden would not survive a week of Maggie with PMS. Seriously. And I figure Zev would take it in his stride, but Alistair... Alistair would be SOOO funny trying to deal with a PMS woman.

lol, Marina would probably be a total emo, more than usually. And Rhiamon would fight it, drug herself or use blood magic or whatever, just to be sure nobody would notice. And nobody would notice anyway, because it's impossible to be more b-chy than she's already. Hey, I think I know now why Velanna was so crazy in the begining and so nice in the end :)

@Surely : Woo awesome idea for the prompt!

@Gala: When I played through Awakenings the first time, the boyfriend came to watch right before I picked up Velanna and he was all, "omg, a PMSing mage? dangerous..."

I just get weepy for that one/two days. ANYTHING will make me cry, and cry for hours. I saw a seagull dive for a fish on the beach and absolutely broke down... so embarrassing. Futurama never fails to trigger the tear valve either, especially if it involves Nibbler. Ugh. Condolences Miri - hope you feel better shortly :)

Also, I'm sitting now in a hospital, and it seems like every woman here has pms. I'm lucky my boss gave me a day off because there's no point in coming at work for 2 hours :(
