I'm so envious now! They look so wonderful. I was browsing a blog of our masters and realized that I could've only wear those flat corsets, which make you look like a boy.

And thank you, everyone. I haven't sewn a damn thing all semester and it's driving me mad. That's my first goal as soon as the semester ends. I've got some olive drab linen and a box full of vintage brass military surplus buttons demanding to be a button-front corset.

I think it's the ancient elven armor. I go between that one and armor of the divine when I have him as an arcane warrior. They both look so good on him.

I always put him in that silverite set you get in the basement of the vigil. I never bother with the ancient elven armour since I don't have the boot fix.

I'm drinking white wine with my peanut butter sandwich for lunch because I can't cope with the idea of visiting relatives this afternoon. Goes surprisingly well. Pity I can only have one glass .

I'm wishing I had some wine now... I really don't feel like walking to the liquor store, though. It's only fifteen degrees outside.  (edit to add that would be about -10 for anyone outside the US)
(and I'm trying to finish a chapter of blue skies... and decide if it needs smut or not.)

SMUT! SMUT! And if I could donate a bottle from here I would. I think the coldest I've EVER been was -3 in Canberra one year. Truly. And it happened to be the one night I was going to see the Tallis Scholars and was wearing a rather fetching mini-skirt. I believe the phrase rhymes with clucking bell, it was cold.

@Cave: I live pretty close to downtown, so my neighborhood's almost 50-50 commercial/residential.

and... dry... county? Buh?

(seriously, there are about a dozen bars and two liquor stores within a mile of my apartment, and last call here is four in the morning. I can't even fathom a dry county.)

@Miri: I wish I could say it wouldn't get any colder here, but last year we had a week where it barely got over ten below (about 25 below in C).

My city is kind of fueled by alcohol. I suppose we're the polar opposite of a dry county.
