I have a touchpad mouse on my laptop and it's hilarious because I just hit the tablet instead and it doesn't work quite the same way so I get all frustrated until I remember "Oh, TABLET" and immediately forget why I was bothering with the net in the first place.
You know, about nine years ago I was REGULARLY BORED. Why didn't I have all these things THEN?

My TOP curse is back, OMG NEW GALA:

 Yeah, it's addiction

Miri, congrats! Hehe, I've finished Awakening only twice just because of the tablet :) And I've been drawing Rhia and Marina more than playing with them!

I just saw that and omg hello!

Gala- did you see that Cullen mod that lets you have a mini-romance in the origin? (just a stolen kiss and then a sad glance when you leave, but it looks REALLY well done.)

@Lupus, the kiss looks sweet and really well done. But what I love about Cullen is how he resists my mage's charm, it makes him a really valuable prize!

And: Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!! A fan-club!!!

I would be more excited if it didn't keep telling me that join requests are closed despite other people successfully joining.

Hehe, yes, the towel is slipping XD I imagine Marina waking up: "Oh, Maker, it's going to be an awful day, so many things to do, because commander Amell does nothing!" And Anders walks in: "Day off!" and drops the towel :D

Gala, go for it! I've been doing the same.

In non-anders news, just because I am beside myself with joy- I JUST finished my VERY LAST undergraduate class. I still have finals, but even if I skip them I'd still pass everything. So... I am basically... a college graduate!

Wow, only took me since 1997!

(and my iphone broke last night. Boo hiss. But I've got nine months on the warranty so a friend is taking me to the apple store soon where they will hopefully just give me a replacement.)

@Lupus, great news! Though I'm sorry about your phone. :( I hope they will replace it. In my country they take broken things to fix them, and you live 2 weeks without a phone at all.

Ah, there'll be a hell for me tomorrow. I'm going to bank to try to gain my money back and then I must go to a hospital for some scary diagnostic procedure, and I thought I would have a day off to sleep and do useful things :)

P.S. You DO remember I'm an optimist, yes? I am! :wizard: Everything will happen in the best possible way!

@Estral: Thank you!

@Gala: Thanks!  and with my phone the worst case is, I may have to pay for a repair and have it sent away. But, my roommate gave me his old phone to use while mine is busted, so I popped my sim card into there last night. Which is good, as I would be bugging out without a phone with my sister still in the hospital.

Good luck tomorrow! I used to use my time sitting around hospitals to catch up on my reading.

@Surely: It's worth it to finish.  I seriously feel like jumping up and down right now.
I'm lucky in that I was laid off with a very generous severance package and got into a state program to finish school while on unemployment.  So I've been going full time over the last year and a half.  Otherwise I suspect I wouldn't have gone at all.  Really, losing my job was the best thing that ever happened to me.  (Strange to say that now considering I sobbed nonstop for a week when it happened.)
I don't think I would have had the determination to go part time while still working.
