Finished my prompt this morning.
I didn't want to specify who the child belongs to (whether it be Anders, passersby, a baby who needed healing, or a friends child). It's just Anders and a child.

I tend not to work in browns (generally either just black and white, or color) so this was kind of an experiment at the same time.

The little one can totally be Ander's, or an Anders relation if you see fit I didn't notice the smirk at first but when I did, decided to just leave it for that very reason.

Past kitty names have usually had a Star Wars theme

Ohio, kitties! Call her Anora! Or Isabela - or you could do Ser Pounce if you're allowed (I'm still shirty my husband wouldn't let me call our son Alistair, although I suspect once we finally get a cat I'll be allowed naming rights!)

Edited to add: Received my Alim/Zev card from Aimo in the mail. I assume she'll put it up on DevArt eventually and her DevArt images are always higher resolution but in the meantime - have a look! 

She also included a little pencil sketch of Zev - god I love her .

You know, I never got the actual card from Aimo. I realize it's a long way to mail, but this seems a bit odd...

You should email her and ask. Did she give you a full sized digital scan? She might only do that for US orders. Malaysia is just next door for me so postage isn't much of a cost.

I got a card in the mail for my first Aimo commission and I live in the US, too. When I commissioned the second one, she asked if my address was the same as before but I never got the card, either.

Just checked my email, she said she was mailing it at the end of October. So, yeah, I should have gotten it by now. I dropped her a line. But... if it's lost in international mail I can't imagine what she could do about it.

@Wedger: I love the name "Merlin" for cats. Or to stay with the Tolkien theme - perhaps Beorn? or one of the dwarves? (I think Bombur would be kind of cute)

@Lupus: A lost Aimo card is so sad Perhaps it will eventually make it's way to you?

Also, an improved "The Picture?" I can't quite fathom how that would be possible! But I cannot wait to see it. You know, for science

Huh, she just got back to me. Cards sent the same day to the US and Canada reached their owners already. Aimo offered to either redraw or refund my money.

Mmm, not good! It may still get to you - sometimes there are delays. She sent it registered post to me so technically the post office should refund your money - at least it would here - or maybe Malaysia post will refund hers.
