And here it's midday. I guess I'm in the middle between you two
My longest day lasted 44 hours. It was last winter, when I was working from my home and playing DA at nights. As a result I gained 18 lbs and caffeine addiction (still trying to get rid of them XD). Of course I was functioning like that for 3 months, it didn't happen after a one... two days
The previous personal record was 34 hours, when I was studying chemistry in university and my final test was on the 31 of December. I'd spent a night in preparations, passed the test and then my friends called to me: "Let's go celebrate the New Year!" And I went. In the end boys had had to carry me because I fell asleep while walking

Oh good, my computer should run DA 2. I had to turn all the graphics way down for Origins and was wondering if I was going to need to upgrade (not even sure how to go about that as I am using Bootcamp) But DA 2 should be ok, thanks for posting those Lupus. Does anyone else here play on a windows machine through a mac? (Would love to learn how to take a real screenshot)

@Estral can you install fraps? If so, you can assign a key for screenshots (if you don't have a print screen key- not a mac person so I have no idea)

Edit to add...  Sagacious Rage just posted an Anders one shot featuring, of all people, Keili.  And surprisingly, she makes it work.  I enjoyed it so I thought i would pass it along.

Yeah, no print screen key, but fraps is a great idea! I am almost done with an Origins playthrough that I have been priming with armor/items for an Anders screenshot marathon

I'm now completely hyped for DAII. Even if Anders doesn't make an appearance, I suspect I'm still going to love it. And ACTUAL Fenris as opposed to the concept art is pretty hot! I didn't like the art much I must confess.

I wasn't really looking forward to DA2 very much until I finally decided on a name for my Hawke and now she's actually appearing in a one-shot I'm writing. Predictably, she's not particularly heroic but - for now - she's at least better than some of my Wardens have been.

My pc's name should be Vesta Hawke - so far the poor girl's going to die celebate ;-)

I do like Fenris' in game model though. The Lyrium tattoos are great. Oh to be able to play an elf..../sigh

That actually never bothered me in game. I don't know if it would IRL, I've only ever met one or two guys who were shorter than me so it hasn't really been an issue since, well, puberty.

And I'm not even bothering to attempt to stick to one hour on the prompt... since I have a Big Idea and it may end up being reworked into a chapter later. Fair warning. I'm a dirty dirty cheater.
(would also mark the first time I've done the same scene in 3rd person limited Anders pov before doing the same scene in 1st person Maggie pov)
