He-he, me too  That's why I did this. Oh, sadly, but this officer died during the final fight. I cried: "Oh no, they killed Anders! You bastards!" I heard he's also in the 3rd Pirates and will return in the 4th.

Appropos of nothing, Anders finds out what it's like to be Alistair in my games (ie. Hard):




I think he was under the assumption that it was nothing but kissing, hugs and tent time.

I thought he did have a backstory. He was a mage in the tower, likes cats and escaped 7 times.

He did a deal with a female in Amaranthine.

He is business orientated.



He could just be a rebelllious mage. He is cool. I like him.



He could do with a little more back story though.

He has no early back story as far as I know.

Maybe he does not need it.

He does have less story than the others I supose.



All the others do have early back stories.



I did notice he looked a little similer to Alistair though.

You mean the 3rd Pirates? I haven't finished watching them yet. I think I saw him dying in the first movie, but maybe I was wrong, it happend so fast.

So I decided to run through a couple dialogues in Kal'hirol and came across the funniest animation/expression combination ever:



He also assured my PC that he doesn't talk about the whole "mages have it bad, yo" thing while he eats or during sex (he's not a monster), complete with amusing in context hand gestures, and followed up by a slightly tantalizing look:

So, I was cruising around the Wending Wood (as you do) and I came across this item. Its parked in the Darkspawn camp near the two brothers. I don't know why but I'm suddenly curious as to its use.

Haha, I got this dialogue (he disapproves btw, but it was so hilarious, that I couldn't resist ), and I thought: "No, I don't believe you! Prove it! Come on, I'll ask Oghren and Sigrun to go elsewhere!"

I think it's a darkspawn forge. It was described in "Return to Ostagar", I think.

I love getting him to cast firestorm, but I prefer the entropy skill set. They don't look as good though

Maybe. The group had just been subjected to Oghren being inappropriate with Sigrun, so he may have been ordered to set Oghren straight.

I'm fond of Spirit heavy mages with the cold and lightning lines and am a Haste addict. The Hex line is good in Origins when Alistair and my PC are getting Misdirected all over the place, but I prefer to be showy and destructive. And fast.

He doesn't sneer that I've noticed, but he doesn't seem too terribly impressed, either. Although I can't blame him for not kneeling, don't want to accidentally flash the king or any of your new comrades (or dirty the robes). That would get things off to a rather awkward start.

True, true.  That's a dead ogre they're all standing around.  Could be ogre blood on the ground.  That would really make a mess of his shiny robe.
