Please tell me what the book is like - it sounds fascinating

hehehehe thundercats. I don't think I'll ever be able to think of them the same way.

From the little I've paged through so far it looks interesting. She talks about the difference in scenes between people in love, casual partners, people together for the first time, things like that in the introduction. Which all makes sense, really.

It seems more about making the sexy scenes work in the context of a story and using them to advance characterization than it is about, say, making smut smuttier. But there is some of that, too, from what I've seen.

Tomorrow's going to be all hell until about 4pm then I expect we're going to collapse in front of the TV drunkenly and watch Going Postal. For the first time in ages we don't have to go anywhere on boxing day. Hooray!

@Miri, It's the jaw line and eyes. Poor Mae's whole face is based on this picture. Boyfriend actually made Mae for me, so I'd play the game. He just wanted someone to talk about it with. Poor thing didn't know what he was doing. ;D

Hope everyone's holiday is going well. My mom's been working me like a dog since the moment I woke up. Well, since the moment she yelled at me to wake up.

I think I cooked more today than I have in the last six months combined. And I cook a lot normally!

We're busy assembling everything, thank goodness for cold cut Christmas! It's turned out boiling so we'll all pile into the pool later. First time we've had a proper hot day for Christmas in years! Mind you, one year it was 42 - I'm glad it's not like that!

It's still Christmas eve here, and rather cold. My mom's boyfriend built a big fire in the fireplace which is nice, though. And, of course, since I have to be social I've got inspiration overload and want to write. Because Anders is monopolizing my muse. (and I'm surprised because almost every review from the last chapter mentioned the same new OC which makes me kind of want to do more with her)
