I love it! The emotions are fantastic!

Hehe, I've made a special PS brush for Anders' stubble.

@Cave Lovely and romantic. One day I'll be able to stay up late enough for the fireworks again :).

@Gala: Simple's always the most handy, thank you!

@Cave: I like how sweet and serene that is juxtaposed against the fireworks.

Morning, all! Happy new year! Amazingly not hung over- don't know HOW I managed that!

Gala, I love that... the look on his face is fantastic!

Cave, the two of them together are always so sweet.

Woke up to two Anders in profile pics- always a good thing!

So... Is it wrong that I had to find out if a guy who was chatting me up had played dragon age before I'd give him my number? I was just informed by my roommate that I did just that last night. I then, apparently, went on about why killing Zevran was a horrible move. And about why Anders was the best character ever.

@Gala - Thanks! You too! Also... POUNCE!!! YAY! :P

@Miri, I actually took a nap from 1am to 2am and the stayed up until 4. So I missed the really good fireworks, but I caught the amateur ones.

@ElZeeTrois, Thanks! Quiet, soft moments with things exploding in the background is pretty much standard for Mae and Anders. ;)

@Lupus, Thanks! And I think you have your priorities straight concerning guys. ;D I mean how do you try to explain a gallery full of drawings an epic fan fic to someone who has no idea how awesome Anders is.
Anway, the first thing I asked my boyfriend was if he was gay and did he like The X-Files all in one sentence and we've been together for ages. ^_^

@Lupus NO no and NO. Absolutely justified, IMO.

My husband and I bonded over a love of an obscure Australian band (who's lead singer happened to be married to one of my friends, so I got him into a gig of theirs for free). Then we found out that we'd both finished Foucault's Pendulum and enjoyed it. It was only after a couple of weeks when we'd both let our intellectual guard down that we realised we both loved the Muppets and were hard core Star Wars geeks. True love ensued. ;)

Nice.
SOH still don't understand why I fell head over heels on all things BioWare since KOTOR.   :?

Apparently it went very well (have I mentioned I may have overdid it a bit) since my roommate said we then had a long discussion that involved repeated uses of the word "hate" linked with "the fade."
(I also ask all guys what their favorite star wars movie is. Just because I want to make sure they HAVE a favorite star wars movie. Not like I would turn someone down for saying Jedi instead of Empire or whatever. Although I think if they said Phantom Menace I might run screaming.)

Edit to add @Tank - I once asked someone out when they said "you know, mass effect is probably my favorite game since the first kotor."  :D
(before the days of dragon age, clearly...)

I need to not update my fics on holidays.  I know stats are down and all, but I just feel like no one's read my last chapter.  I hate that since I included a really funny (well, to me) dirty joke for Oghren to tell.

George Lucas would be surprised if someone said that I think ^_^

Oh fun. My hard drive in my three month old computer just died. I have THREE DAYS left on the warranty, though, so a new one is on its way! (I can't believe HP had tech support on hand today)

Well, good thing it happened today. Better than wednesday when my warranty would be expired. Better than March when I'd be bouncing from one foot to the other like Homer Simpsons waiting for DA2

I adore all BioWare games. NWN, KOTOR, ME, DA...humph...can't really comment on JE since I haven't played it yet.
Yeah, and it all started with Carth Onasi @KOTOR.

Jade Empire is a lot of fun. If you're a console gamer I think it's even on the xbox marketplace. I know it's cheap to get on the PC, too.

Since my gaming PC is down for the count I may just fire that up on the 360, come to think of it.

I now have a hideous dilemma every time I sit down at the PC - DA or Mass Effect?? I'm really loving the atmosphere and story of ME, but I'm crap at shooters. CRAP with a capital C. Kaidan dies EVERY TIME WE GET INTO A FIGHT. Whereas I am highly skilled at DA gameplay and tactics, so it's like going to a new class where I don't know anyone and have no background knowledge and keep putting my foot in my mouth.

Plus which, what is it with fem!Shep's NECK? I can't make a fem!Shep who doesn't look like she's got some sort of embarrassing thyroid condition...

Miri, the body model is better in ME2. ME1 was made for xbox before pc, and they just ported it, so it's really from 06 or 07. By those standards the graphics are pretty good.

I was TRYING to play ME today and it kept crashing on character creation- and then the Witcher crashed when I tried to save, and that was when I knew I had a problem.

So if you import your fem!shep from ME to ME2 does she still look wonky?

The fact that ME1 kept crashing on our PC was the main reason we got a new one as well.

You can change the appearance of an imported character, actually.
It wasn't that the game was crashing, really... my entire system was.  My HD failed- I could access the data on the disk, but I can't write to it. Everything would crash as soon as I tried to do something that would require a save to disk.

Nice!  You got the most important part right- his nose.  I'm so obsessed with Anders' nose. :D
