I'm 99% sure my next fic will be f!Brosca/Jowan. I was tempted by Aeducan/Loghain, but that may wait for Blue Skies to be done (since AOA will probably end first).

Yeah, since I figure a dwarf won't really care about legal vs illegal magic, and someone who was a criminal that got a second chance would be fairly understanding about being, well, a criminal who wants a second chance.

I just didn't want to do the usual jowan/mage thing, since so many other people have. I figured this would be fun, and remove any baggage from the past issues.

There really aren't. I can only think of two offhand that I read, Dead Duster Walking and Thieves Like Us. Which are both very good, but also both very infrequently updated.



Since I got a new hard drive I have to redo all my DA mods. I find it FANTASTIC that the pictures for the Alistair's First Night mod use the Anderstair. :>

No idea what Anders is doing in the first pic, but it seems strangely appropriate for him.

My sims!Anders and sims!Maggie ended up homeless. They skipped work to have sex too often. I'm not even kidding, sadly.

He does that whenever he talks to her. He gestures towards his crotch and leans back. At least he knows what he wants I guess.
Poor Maeve is the only one who goes to work. Anders just stays at home in his underwear, reads, sets the house on fire, and helps Samahla with her homework.... then Maeve comes home and I have to keep them from trying to make little ones every second. XD

I never give my Sims enough autonomy. One day I'm going to build a couple and just watch them, but I'm too controlling and end up interfering in their lives. Hope that doesn't indicate what sort of parent I'm going to be...

I let them run amuck, unless it's the children. I have those little buggers lives planned out from breakfast to bedtime. I don't think I've ever had a Sim kid that I intended to keep around not go to private school and get at least B+ grades. So let's all wish and hope that our Sims playing style doesn't reflect on any of our parenting.
Maeve's a politician, of course. Anders was on the medical career path, but he liked woohooing and reading far too much for that nonsense.

Best birthday haul ever. Apart from all the fabulous art, got a beautiful new skirt from my sister and a bunch of enormous roses from my hubby. Also got this:

God, that drives me nuts. That's one thing I'm looking forward to in DA2. It'll be nice not to have a perpetual blank stare frozen onto your character's face.

Grr. Staying up late to play DA and of course Steam is being a bastard. I'm actually really glad I can no longer get DA2 on steam - every evening (which is the only time we can play due to children being asleep) it plays silly buggers with us and won't let us log on. Stupid ***** of a system.

I sympathize. It's hard to game with little kids around. Although I do play when they're awake, sometimes. My eldest even "plays" with me occasionally, meaning he sits on my lap and says "Momma I can do it myself! Momma? Momma! MOMMA I DO IT MYSELF!!"

Sometimes I think I should feel bad about this, as, you know, oftentimes there are sort of . . . sprays of blood all around the screen. Buuuut, honestly, I don't.

Anyway, hard to get much done with them awake, isn't it? Much as you love them . . .

I just realized this has nothing to do with Anders. So . . . yeah. Anders = win.

. My eldest sits on my lap while I try to write or draw sometimes. She's not keen on my computer though. Tells me to "turn off the puter and cuddle me on the couch!" hence my writing and drawing gets done in ten minute bursts.

Speaking of Steam, anyone else find the Steam holiday sale disappointing this year?

My roommate and I were talking about that... last year every day involved one of us running around going "OMG OMG title X is $5!!" This year... not so much.



Currently working on the prompt... Poor Anders, I torture him so much.

I had a couple of ideas which I've since abandoned, because I realised that really, Anders wouldn't bother to keep those sorts of things secret - he's not what you'd call inhibited! So now I'm trying to think of something he WOULD keep secret. I have one idea but I'm not certain if it's right for a one hour prompt...
