You've done quite a bit of this yourself with The Ties that Bind and Fractures. Better than I could have, IMO. My experience with parenthood is nil and my experience with children is basically limited to babysitting about eighteen years ago and my nephew who doesn't do much beyond sit in an incubator so far. You really capture the subject matter wonderfully.

Cave: I know I said it on DA, but I love how you balanced the colors of their robes in that.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees Anders and Oghren as troublemaking BFFs

Maggie is now fully aware that hen parties do not involve poultry. She was confused at first. (she thought it was a demonstration of skills that someone had to do before getting married. Like, prove they could cook)

And my team lead from my last job, before I got laid off, just asked if I wanted to come back. So I'm hoping HR will call me very, very soon! I loved that job. IT industry rocks.Only job where you can talk video games with everyone.

Hopefully it'll pan out since I just dipped into my savings for a new suit, my old one from a couple years ago was too big now.

That's what I was thinking. Before the video I  thought I was just being too optimistic, but now I'm starting to think he really could be a companion.

Maggie can wear gloves. I wouldn't try and get the ring off her, though. You'd be liable to lose a limb.

I say we stick Cullen with Samahla baby-sitting duty. She's not a mage like he'd be used to, but that should make it easier. ;D

@Surelyforth Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease... OH PLEASE. It would be SOOOO good. I'm now ridiculously excited. To the point of hopping about the room. He's blond, he's got long hair, he's a mage... I downloaded the pic and zoomed in and there's no sign of the earring, however, but the coincidences are adding up a bit too much IMO...

@Cave - and they probably wouldn't get caught . Maggie isn't big on subtlety, whereas I think Mae and Neria both have a healthy dose of "consequences can sometimes be bad.." .

I thought so, too. Gods, I hope so. I wanted to ask what you all thought of these rumors, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that you preferred to keep the discussion away from Dragon Age 2 and speculation. However, I will definitely wade in, if ya'll are up for it.

I thought he was all but hinting, myself, but there is a point where you hope for something so badly that you become blinded to possible truths, and I believe that would be me.

We'll see soon, though. Less than two months!

@Miri, If you ask me, the bangs cover where the earring would be... not to mention Isabela doesn't have all her jewelry. Those sort of things are the first to go when paring down details.

Mae and Neria are more the sort to ask permission in a sneaky way than the sort to say "I'm sorry" in a bloody-smash-kill sort of way. Planning is key, so is looking perfectly innocent no matter what. ;3

At this point, I am not sure if my brain is wanting it to be Anders so bad that everything looks like him... but it really feels like pieces are falling into place in Anders' favor.

Especially with what DG said about prior companions.

It's Merrill from the Dalish Origin. Her chest looks a bit funny though... Maybe it's the angle

I don't want to put all my beans in a basket (or mix my metaphors too much) but if I were a betting woman I'd put money on Anders being in DA2 right now. Now the waiting and gnawing of fingernails starts....

I have to admit up until right now I've been thinking companionAnders = LIAnders, but even if Anders was made a companion, he could still not be an LI. Ouch, that would be a very sad dangling carrot indeed.



I will however resolve to stay optimistic. Even if he is a companion-only, he would still make a kickass addition to the party.

And cave, that second frame... my god. The look on his face is so amazing. I love it.



I can't see them including him and NOT having him as a LI. It wouldn't make much sense, and as much as we joke they're really not in the business of doing things just to tick off fans. I honestly suspect Awakening was supposed to have romances that were cut due to money/time, and they didn't anticipate the extent of the backlash.

@Cave I'm so with Lupus on that second frame - it's to die for. Yum. And also on the whole AU thing. Considering BOTH my major fics are AU anyway (Neria not the warden, Miranda Cousland not the warden) he's technically still a free agent. I'll pop something into the Fractures universe to explain why he was in Kirkwall but in Neria's universe (at least) Hawke will definitely be male and not his beau. Alim is a different matter, however. As is Aedan. I can import those saves since he's not involved with anyone in them. Yet .
