Thanks, Gala! Maggie doesn't dwell on it a much since she's queen of denial. It's going to be a major issue for her after the urn quest in blue skies, though.

I honestly wonder if our (collective our, meaning us here, livejournal, deviant art) fangirling over Anders could be why they brought him back (if, well, they do bring him back).
After all, they brought Garrus back as a LI because of fangirl demand.

They can also tell what characters are more popular because people sign into the bioware servers, so if everyone was always bringing Anders with them everywhere (which seems to be the case with everyone I know who played Awakening) that would be a good sign of his popularity to them.

And hey, top of page... might as well quote!

I've got an interview friday, and I just got called by a recruiter from somewhere else for another interview.  They sprung a phone interview on me out of nowhere, but said HR would be calling me back today to set something up.

Much as I would like to romance Varric - I somehow doubt that will be an option. So I think you're right, Gala. The DA2 forums have started to refer to him as HMG - human Mage guy. I kind of like it! I can just see Anders getting all bristly about it. "Hey I have a NAME!"

Yes! Speaking of that I finally explored all the dialogue options in that first meeting. I'd never chosen the "That's inhuman!" reply - his response is kind of heartbreaking. Makes me even more glad the Templars are all dead by that stage.

My Lady!Hawke is so going to have red hair this time though. Every PC I make these days seems to end up dark haired - I just couldn't make my DA PCs red haired because in my mind that put them in competition with Leliana, who is just too absurdly pretty for words. And Shianni - who is the same. Every elf I ever made (except for my latest Neria) was completely outshone by that woman. I had to make them as different from her as I could.

@ Miri: I was thinking about doing a blonde Lady!Hawke at first, but haven't really been too excited about the way blonde looks in-game. All my Shepherds started blonde and I redid them and *most* of my dragon age characters got re-made with darker hair as well. (Thank gods for that mod!) I'm super pumped about the Mirror of Transfiguration though, so I can start blonde and probably go back to dark. Red would be really pretty I bet too!

I've always wanted to have one of my PCs have dark auburn hair, but for some reason I always go back to making them a brunette at the end.

The blondes never look right when I try them. My F!Amell was blonde and half the time her hair looked greenish. I swear it's like she found the only chlorinated pool in all of Ferelden and swam constantly.

@Cave Lap swimming in the underground pool at Kinloch Hold - it's how the apprentices all get their exercise now that Anders has ruled out exercise by the lake.
