File under Things That Only I Would Find Amusing:

Whilst in the Wending Woods, Anders made his crack about the place being a deathtrap...and then promptly got the Level Up Light from Above. I had no idea that quipping was something that could earn XP points.

A potentially awesome shot ruined by sustained effects (and Sigrun darting out of frame at the last second):

ETA ToP Pic: A Howe and a Cousland will be brought together by their agreement that Anders could do way better than Namaya.

Poor Anders. Maybe he was so traumatized by his relationship with her that he can't woo our Wardens properly?
He needs to see a specialist and discuss it.

Being as how I was a little bored this evening (this state always gets me into trouble), I pulled up a really, really early save game just before the Landsmeet.

My only HNF I finished. Originally I married her to Alistair and they ruled etc etc...

I wanted to try something I'd never done, so, I broke up with him just before going into the chamber. Then once Loghain was dealt with I decided he and Anora should marry. For the first time in the chamber. I'd never chosen that before I usually get there and know exactly what I'm going to do, but as I was just messing about I didn't. So, I thought 'hey why not?". I half expected him to have a hissy fit but he's all "yeah why not?" and she's all "ooh good idea".

What the?

Right I thought, he'll go me in the talk after. Nope. He's all "well worse things could happen than marry a beautiful woman."

Haha - direct hit in the ego for my Cousland girl.

Just wanted to share that - I found the entire thing extremely amusing.

Well, my newly single Cousland is off to Amaranthine...I hear tell there's one or two interesting single men over there...

Brand looks like she's thinking "Seriously Anders!?  With her?  No way!"  (That is Brand isn't it? Apologies if not)

Yeah, it's Brand.  This is how I imagine the whole thing with Namaya working out for her:

Namaya: Don't let him sweet talk you, he's very good at that.
Brand: Please. I'm nailing King Sexy Voice. I think I can handle Anders.
Anders: So I suppose you want an explanation?
Brand: Old friend of yours?
Anders: [flirt]Do I detect a note of jealousy?[/flirt]

We need about 20 dialogue options added...Posted Image

Also, if it makes your poor Cousland feel better, according to the toolset Alistair isn't supposed to be happy about Anora, even if he sorta sounds like he is. If he's not hardened there's potential for him to be totally "How could you do this to me?"  And I wish the PC could respond "You have no idea how much worse your situation could be."

I know its impractical but so many times I wanted the ability to discuss things with my companions.  Not everything, but definitely debrief after a main quest was finished.

Oh well, perhaps in DA2 I'll get the chance to ask:

"So, Bob (or whoever) - I'm feeling a bit overwrought after slaughtering [insert race here] in great numbers.  Fancy a chat and an ale while we unwind?"

"Sure thing Ms Hawk.  First, let me tell you how much I appreciate you listening to my suggestions regarding [killing/not killing] those [insert race here].  It made me feel validated."

Okay not quite like that - but you get the point....:innocent:

SurelyForth, I hope you don't mind that I used some screenshots of yours for userbars? It just because they're awesome!
I think this one will fit Miri1984, because she invented our topic's title:

So I decided to run through a couple dialogues in Kal'hirol and came across the funniest animation/expression combination ever:

He also assured my PC that he doesn't talk about the whole "mages have it bad, yo" thing while he eats or during sex (he's not a monster), complete with amusing in context hand gestures, and followed up by a slightly tantalizing look:

Aww, I've just tried that too. Now my warden totally wants to drag him into her bed to make some tests! ^_^

The "I'm not a monster. *smirk*" made me laugh so hard.

The *smirk* is funny. I think I describe him as smirking or smirky about five times a chapter in my story.

I think Anders' smirk could make even the Archdemon swoon and surrender, but we didn't have Anders back then.

Maybe I'll start calling him The Smirking Mage or The Lord of The Smirk!

Now we know the real reason he was not in DA:O.   Would make the end game way too easy.  Although smexy  Posted Image  (Smirky?  Smirxy?)

If you picked him up in Lothering - instant game over really. Find the mage, the AD would surrender, no need for all that filler....

I thought you all might like to know that in book four of Song of Ice and Fire, there is a cat called Ser Pounce.

Dark fantasy and its cats.  <_<

Does that cat bring people back to life?
Hmm, maybe I must read those books. Looks like David Gaider is not going to give us a new book about Dragon Age...

There may be one for DA2 though...

Is Song of Ice and Fire worth reading? I've seen it mentioned a few times about the place.
