Notice Anders is the only few fully dress one XDDDDDD

Anders is missing belt, shoes, and socks, but he is doing well.

AFAIK Isabela is winning, followed by Varric, Bethany, and Anders.

Anders could probably be doing better in the cardgame, but he's focused on Aveline.

It's totally Anders in DA2.

It has to be, I raised my expectations up to disappointment levels if it isn't.

That would be just like Bioware, wouldn't it? "Here you go, Anders in DA2. Yep, he's a LI. For Bethany! Muahahahaha!"

Of course, it'll take me at least one game to find out since her ass is going down in my first one. I always roll mage first, I can't see that changing unless the demo reveals all the new spells are like "magical crying in the corner" and "arcane pantswetting" or something. If it does, well... rogue is good.

Me too. I'm a horrible mage!sレut I'd totally rock out "mystical rocking back and forth" and "spectral dry sobbing."
Boyfriend always goes rogue first, so I get a sneak peak. He's also always a male first, this leads to a little less gnashing of teeth.

I love rogues - ever since I discovered how to backstab in Baldur's Gate. Mages I was never fond of until now because I hated having to wait for the good spells and I tended just to rush into melee and get slaughtered. Nowadays I actually do like them, and I'm making a mage first in DA2 but mainly because I love the lore surrounding them in DA.

Oh, and Anders of course. He taught me how much mages rock!

This except my expectations are up to "I'm getting a psych evaluation and an eye exam if it's not Anders."

Glad you all like :)

They nerfed the mages by replacing all their spells with emo mood swings. But the mages still win every time since now the enemies are too embarrassed to even waste their time with the fight. "Did... did you just ****** yourself? And now you're crying? Maker's breath, no wonder they lock you up in a tower. That's pathetic, I'm embarrassed for both of us now! Just get out of my sight!"

@Miri: the first tier mage spells actually aren't that bad in DA. Better than the D&D based games, at least. You can usually end up with the first ice, mind blast, and maybe a shield spell before the origin is done.

@Pesudo: That really is fantastic! And I love that Merrill went for shirt before scarf. That's a girl with her priorities straight.

(and as I said in the DA2 thread a moment ago... really, occam's razor applies perfectly here. People either think it's Anders, or they're going through all sorts of bizarre leaps of reason and mental gymnastics to convince themselves it isn't. The simplest solution is usually correct. Could be a million different people. But, the best odds are that it's the blonde ponytailed mage we've already met who has been tied to isabela in the past.

This dialogue is originally posted on Fenris thread. Dr. Doctor is famous there for posting lovely witting banters between DAII members. The dialogue is related to Pseudo's Poker Strip fanart I posted here earlier. Some of the visitor on the thread wonder why there was a need to bring Ser Pounce-A-Lot there:

Dr. Doctor wrote...

Poker Night

Isabela:
(lays down her hand) Royal flush. Time to strip mage-boy. (Anders places Ser Pounce-a-Lot on the table) Anders, the point of the game is to take off your clothes when you lose a hand, not animals.

Anders:
But Ser Pounce-a-Lot always rides around in my robes. He's pretty much apart of my wardrobe isn't that right Ser Pounce-a-Lot? (Ser Pounce-a-Lot meows in response) See, he agrees with me.

Isabela: (sighs and deals the next hand) Fine.

Fenris: (lays down hand) Straight flush. Let's see you beat that.

Isabela:
(smirks and shows her cards) Full house. I'll be taking those shorts of yours shiny boy.

Fenris: (slams his hands on the table) That's it, I'm out of here. I should not have expected a fair game from a woman who cheats.

Isabela: Fine then spoil-sport, looks like lady luck wasn't on your side tongiht, we'll just play on with out you. So next hand...(deals another hand)

Aveline:
(lays down hand) Flush.

Isabela: Well, look at this, four of a kind. I'll be taking that slip of yours Aveline.

Aveline: Are you fond of your kneecaps Isabela?

Isabela: I beg your pardon?

Aveline: In Orlais, those who cheat at cards often find themselves unable to walk. It would be a shame for such beautiful legs to be rendered useless.

Isabela: (offended) You're implying that I cheat? I don't cheat I'm just lucky.

Aveline: Do you wish to test that luck? (cracks knuckles)

Isabela: You know, it is getting late. We have a busy day tomorrow, and I think its time to call it a night.

Aveline: That is an excellent idea.

Totally.

EDIT: Can't help it, had to post it in this page as well. Anders playing with Ser Pounce-A-Lot under the table is just too fun to miss!

Tank, love the banter you posted. Gosh, I want to play that game just because all those people put together seem like an awesome cocktail of awesome-ness.

@Galagraphia, Dr. Doctor is our resident forumite on Fenris thread. He does this lovely banter lines every now and then. It doesn't have to be Fenris related, but it always cracked us up. I think at one point even David managed a few line after Dr. D posted his. XD

@ashez
I'm actually one of the moderators of knickerweasels on livejournal. It's pretty much dead though. I tried mustering up community involvement, but nothing ever came of it. Everyone who was active is a member here anyway. The is a deviantArt group here. We should have some kind of competition after I get done with the pile of prompts/holiday goodies I have to finish.

Maybe knickerweasels will pick up if he's confirmed for DA2...

I was still posting for a bit but it seemed like, after posting a one-shot, when I went back a week later there wouldn't have been anything since my last post, and I felt funny putting another one up.

No one wanted to turn in their Six Sense prompts I got the first round and about half of the second, but most people couldn't be buggered to respond to my messages... I was even endearingly supplicant and then endearingly annoying and still no responses. :/
I just got fed up with trying to get things going without anyone giving a damn. The other mod never really did much either.

Do you have a link for knicker weasels? I'm the moderator of the Dragon Age Kink Meme. We're having a fillathon week and I was hoping to find some new places to spread the word about it. :)

I'll defintily send a message to the Deviantart group. The meme doesn't get nearly as much fanart as fanfiction.

Definitely hit up DevArt, there's a group there for most of the major NPC. Lupus and I are over the Anders' one, so that's actually going pretty well. :D

@Cave: I am so down with the competition idea. And I thought the six senses thing was fun, it's lame people didn't complete it. Tempted to say we recycle the idea for the DA group. Or maybe deadly sins. Sins are fun.

I think part of the problem is LJ itself. The community there is really dying compared to a few years ago.
