I've just read Gaider's comment - it might just be my pessimistic nature but I'm now feeling Miri is [partly] right. Its Justice in Anders' body. Please Andraste I'm proven wrong.

Edit for ToP:

EEdited for clarity and to not misrepresent Miri

David Gaider said..

Just a word of caution:

Until you see the official reveal, don't assume that Anders is what you think he is-- or that he's the same person from DAO:A. People change.

That said: yay, Anders!

Ah, apologies.  I'm being less optomistic - probably the hour of the day.  I hope you're right - if he's possessing it means Justice's VA and not Greg Ellis and also Justice's personality.

Co-habitation could be a mix of both - which could lead to interesting times.

Hm, I hope he means that Anders was... mmmm... not such a nice person in the past? But hey, isn't he a healer? He's healing somebody in one of those pictures...

*stares at that picture... drools*

Um, that means he's still pretty awesome :)

Justice-Anders? o__O

*sigh* And there goes my enthusiasm for DA2 again. It was fun the few hours it lasted.

I really hope it's more like Wynne's spirit thing and not out and out possession.

Because then how would he do magic?

I doubt highly that Justice is in Anders body since in many, many endings he didn't die, I would say the majority of endings he didn't die. Maybe he grew up. Okay, editing.  Maybe in the endings where he died, he ends up having a spirit in him but if he didn't die, that would just be plain stupid.  He didn't die in any of my endings and I played the game numerous times.

It can't be Justice, because DAII events start before the Awakening, and Anders wasn't posessed by any spirit then. It must be something else.

Edit: oh, f**k!

@Miri nice... that sounds a bit more hopeful than I was expecting. So much for my powers of prophesy!

He doesn't have to die to have Justice in him. There's dialogue in Awakenings to that effect.

Crikey, I am so excited I can't sit still. TRULY THIS IS AMAZING.

Is it bad that I really really...like really want RighteousMurderating!Anders? 'Cause I do... like a lot...
Edit: There have to be other spirits of Justice, but my money would be on our ol' stinky friend.

Well possession isn't something that intrigues me in any way. I sure hope they didn't do that. I would be very disappointed if they changed his personality too much. That would suck and I'd never forgive DG and how could our Justice be in him if he isn't dead.

Demons possess their host. Spirts meld like the one did with Wynne. Demons are called demons for this reason. Justice is a spirit, not a demon. Unless a spirit can become a demon, then Justice won't be "possessing" Anders.

Well if that's the case, I can't see him being romanceable. That would even suck more.

@Sialater, Well, those two things don't negate each other really. :D -smiles lovingly at Clint Eastwood poster-

@Avilia, I always thought he did. They died out from him in a convenient way, as if though blasted. Just sayin'.

Yeah, this is my major concern.  As interesting as a mage possessed by a spirit of Justice might be, I liked Anders for his own personality in Awakening.  Making him something different will make me sad.

But I'm sure that's why they're doing it.

Still, the GreyWardens.com article gives me hope that he's not totally changed...we'll see.

It's what ME did.

The fans want Garrus back?  Sure... let him take a rocket to the face and calibrate daily.

They want Anders back?  Sure!  He's possessed.

Yeah, that's a pretty good comparison, since I'm assuming this is DA2's way of making Anders Take a Level in Badass

But, unlike ME2, we'll see Anders dealing with this over several years...so who knows.  I may like him even more than before.

But for now, I will worry.  Posted Image
