Now, I was trying to get screenshots of Anders-to-the-rescue and suddenly discovered that he really has claustrophobia! That was my guess why he hated being locked in the Tower so much.

I don't think I've heard him actually say he's claustrophobic, but he does seem pretty whimpery about certain places. Not that I blame him. The Deep Roads are pretty creepy.

lol I have this image now of Ron being with Woody and Buzz and being all  "C'mon guys, the attic won't be so bad!!"  


And the whole Anders claustrophobic thing is perfect for something I'm writing.

I think I need to click on Awakening people more often - I had no idea that they'd tell you important things like that in different places.  And like I said, this will be perfect, I think, for a scene I have planned!

We'll see, we'll see.    It will still mainly be about Kara and Alistair, but I'm sure Anders will wedge his way in.  I always envision King Alistair being a little jealous of Anders even though he knows he shouldn't be.  It makes me giggle in my head and feel bad for him at the same time.

That looks great!  And that's also my favorite Anders quote - he saved my butt so many times on my one and only Awakening playthrough so far.  How a mage ended up being the only one standing so often when the party had a warrior and two rogues, I don't know, but it really was Anders to the rescue!

Right? When I was planning my story, I had my idea of how it would work and was honestly dreading writing him despite my considerable adoration. Once I actually got going, though, it turned out to be my favorite thing ever, especially when I get to write flashbacks or him interacting with Alistair.

She actually got a Holy Smite in, so he was stunned for most of the fight, but his sustains were still up so she couldn't get close enough to hit him due to Repulsion Field.
