Thank you.

With today's revelation, it occurs to me that this thread needs a new title.

I will leave this here:

"...."

"He's coming around." Voice echoed around him. He frowned, trying to open his eyes, only to realis they felt like weighing tons.

"Anders. Can you here me, my love? Anders?" Nhek's panic voice emerged through the fogs and echoes. Maker's Breath, she sounds terrified.

What happened, what the hell had happened?

"Commandar, I am afraid we will have to remove you from the chamber if you continue to approach the abomonation." Another voice rose sternly, and filled with warning.

"Don't you dare, Rolan!" Nhek snarled: "Touch me and I will turn you into crispt!"

"But, Commander..."

"It is Chantry and that damn Anaroa's decision, not mine. Somehow I, the Warden Commandar, does not seem to have a say for this matter." Oh, my, his beloved sounded pissed. Thought Anders inwardely. You show them, my beloved. Zap them into cripst.

"Commander..."

"Anders..." Something drippled on his face. It took a moment to register it was Nhek Surana's tears. Anders made another attempt to open his eyes and tried to touch Nhek: "No....Anders.....That's not what you told me...no..."

"Nh.....ek.." He parted his lips and realise his voice was totally cracked like dry riverbeds. He finally managed to open his eyes to a slit, and saw his beloved Warden sitting next to him, her perfect elven face was glistening in tears.

"Anders!"

"Wha....what happened?" His suddenly noticed he was surrounded by the Templars, several Grey Wardens and Chantry sisters.

"You...you...during the routine trip to Amarannthine, you saw several templars trying to kill a blood mage." Nhek took a deep breath: "You...something happened to you, you went bananas and...killed them. All of them. Anders," She swallowed: "What happened to Justice inside you? What happened to him?"

"I...I don't know.." Anders shook his head. How did he explained to her that the spirit currently sharing his body was no longer the Justice they once knew?"

"The Wardens had decided they cannot tolerate an abomonation." The Templar stood not very far from Nhek interrupted: "We are ordered to excecute you. It would have be done sooner, should the Commander not trying to stop us."

"Once again, Roland, your so called 'The Warden' does not including me!" Nhek growled. Her hands started to crackle with sparks.

"Commandar," Roland sighed: "I am afraid you have leave us no choice. REMOVE THE COMMANDAR FROM THE CHAMBER." He called out.

Several Grey Warden and Templar approached. Nhek moved in front of Anders and glared at them, her eyes were burst with fury.

"Don't you dare!" Ice Blizzard fired out from the white hair elven commander's small body: "No-One-Will-Touch-Him!"

Several Holy Smite hit out at once. Nhek erected an protective field, blocking their attack temperally, and jerked her head around.

"Anders! Run! Run!"

"I am not leaving, not without you!" Anders managed to stood up. He tried to cast spells to help his beloved, and out of his shockinig horror he noticed his mana was completely dry.

"No! You have to go! I won't let them kill you! Anders, I....."

Her words was cut short. Spells broke through the barrier and hit Nhek's small body. In slow motion, Anders watched, helplessly, his beloved body went rigid and staggered backward. Her eyes was widen in shock.

"NO~! NONONONONONo!" Anders rushed foward and caught Nhek just as she was about to hit the ground.

"A...Anders..." The elf's face was covered with blood. She reached out her shaking hand and touched the mage's face: "Anders...You are the best thing that...that had happened to me...I love you."

"I love you, too. My beloved." Anders felt his heart was shattered into pieces. No, this could not be happening, this is a dream, this is in the Fade...

The Nhek gave him one last smile, and her face paused. The smile slowly faded away.

For a while, Anders holding Nhek's lifeless body, crunching on the floor, and did not move at all. Roland coughed, and tookd a step forward. Greatsword once again raised in the air.

"She gave us no choice, everyone. We will report this to the Queen once this is done." Said the templar.

He took another step and swung his sword. Suddenly his body went rigit. Next thing everyone saw was blinding lights shredded through his body, torn it into pieces. To their astonished eyes, the former Grey Warden placed the Commanders' body gently on the ground and turned around. His eyes were no longer in Hazel. Instead they were glowed in shining blue, and filled with fury.

"You have to pay, you all have to pay for this."

Something I come up with after reading the short story BW had published.

Not yet beta, so it's a bit hard on the eyes.

Don't think I will post it on FFN or dA though.

I've almost convinced myself to not import Brand's playthrough. It's silly, but that story is just so heartbreaking, I want to think there's some universe where he doesn't go through all that. They can still Fight the Power together, but it will involve less...eaten flesh and more running to the palace and convincing Alistair to let them do things he probably shouldn't let them do.

Yeah, the possibility of this romance was what made me decide on Alim as my canon playthrough rather than Miranda.

Yeaaahhhh... Maggie playthrough might get imported since it's the most complete (IE witch hunt), but... Maggie fic-land ends cannon at awakening. I never did the dlcs, though, so no real change.
And I realized that if DA2 starts at Lothering and ends 10 years later- I'm already past the end of it.   So I can consider da2 an AU where Zevran didn't sneak out in the night or anything.

I am SO excited about his backstory, too. Really. If they don't specify how pappa hawke met the fade I'm totally RPing my mage hawke like he was killed by templars. Maybe even in front of her. And that chantry hating apostate will be on Anders like butter on popcorn!
I like how dark they made it since I've come to determine I really enjoy writing incredably f'd up Chantry politics and so on.  Which means i get TONS MORE in my DA2 fic.

and here is my new pic from Cave of Maggie and Anders... maybe a couple years before... yeah.

I was jumping like Mel C in "Going Down", lol. It's 5:30 a.m. here btw, I'm glad my walls a thick!

Changed the title of our topic and added The Story to the 1st message.

So, YEAH, REVELATIONS! DON'T YOU MIND I USE CAPS????

1. Anders' dad was like Jowan's mum.

2. Anders was 12 when he was taken to the Circle.

3. Anders is IMMORTAL when Justice assumes direct control.

4. It doesn't seem like he feels there's someone else in his head, looks like Justice merged with his soul somehow.

...

...

...

You know, Rhiamon dispite all her love for Anders, would've totally ordered to hunt him down and kill him. Then she and Marina would probably got drunk with Oghren, embrace each other and cry till the morning, all 3 of them. Poor Anders. This is SO damn dark. I love BioWare.

@Lupus, the seeds are sown for epicness already I see. That picture makes me incredibly happy.

@Gala, I love the new title, so cute!

Mae is my canon warden, so in DA2 land she just went on bangin' Alistair and being generally miserable.
I can't help, but see it ending up like this....
-Maeve sitting at desk, quill scratching roughly as she marks things out on a worn piece of parchment-
*knock, knock*
Mae: Yes?
Nathaniel: Commander, there's a man here. He needs to speak to you.
Mae: -hand wave- Fine see him in.
-A middle-age man in peasant attire enters. He is wringing his hands and on the verge of tears.-
Mae: Yes?
-Man rambles off  a story about seeing a Grey Warden mage turn into something accursed by the Maker-
Mae: And only you saw this? And you've told no one?
Man: Yes, Ser. Do you not believe me? It was from a fair distance, but I assure you that--
Mae: I believe you... wholeheartedly... Come here.
-Man approaches desk-
Mae: -crooks finger- Closer.
-Man follows her instructions to find Mae's hands on either side of his head.-
Man: Wha-- -Maeve twists the man's neck sharply- *CRACK* -he falls to the ground-
Mae: Nate, come clean this up, will you? And I need you to do me a favor.

If I'm reading things right, then Origins, Awakening, and the short story from the LI confirmation thread all take place during the year that Hawke is stuck in Lowtown.  Doesn't that seem like too short a period of time for all that to occur?

I think most people make a mistake when they think that Hawke escapes from Lothering in the very begining of the Blight. In videos we see Hawkes running, but we don't know where are they. Maybe it's near the end of the Blight? Everyone thinks: "OMG, we're doomed" But suddenly The Warden saves the day? But by then Hawkes are sailing to Free Marches already. That will give us a year between the end of the Blight and the begining of Hawke's 2nd year in Kirkwall. We also don't know how long it took the ship to get there. Awakening takes place few months after the Blight, we don't know how many, but we think it's more than 9, because Oghren has a child already. But it can be less, because Oghren is an unstoppable love machine and he and Felsi could've done it while our wardens were busy smuggling lyrium for Godwin. ;) So, Anders could have  time after Awakening to become possessed, escape from the Wardens and go to Kirkwall. Of course, this goes against the epilogue, but I prefer to believe that the epilogue was written by Leliana, who always changes things (compare her story in Origins to her DLC).

IF David Gaider has a failing it's the liberties he takes with the logical flow of time.

I mean, he commented that you could walk from Highever to Denerim in a day. Figuring 30 miles an day, which is GENEROUS, I couldn't walk to the next city over from me in more than two days.
Going by that logic the whole of Ferelden is something like forty or fifty miles across. Making it smaller than New York City. Or, people of Ferelden can walk upwards of fifty miles an hour. In which case, sure, plenty of time since everyone is clearly on copious amounts of crystal meth.

(I tease because I love. And also because, really, dude... I even bothered to research how far someone in heavy armor could walk in a day for fanfic!)

Lupus, they used a car! XD I mean, they rode on the invisible horses! Everyone knows there are horses in Thedas, but nobody have ever seen them!

(yes, I try to justify it all to feel less disrespected)

*giggles at Gaider and time* But Gala is right about the whole escape from Lothering thing. Lothering was destroyed, yes, and because of game mechanics you can't go back there after your first quest, but there's no saying it was destroyed right at the beginning of the blight. It could have taken months. And then it could have taken Hawke a long time to get to a ship to get out of Ferelden.

I'm not really a fan of overly angsty romances. Right now it seems like Anders' will be like that but I suppose there's no way of knowing until the game actually comes out. Given my steadfast refusal to do human/elf relationships (my Hawke doesn't want to take part in destroying their species and cannot be convinced that romancing an elf is anything else regardless of anyone's logical arguments), if Anders is too angsty then I'll have to hope that Isabela is both bisexual and likeable or go without romances. Again.

I'm totally planning to Bonnie and Clyde it up on my first runthrough. I'm wondering how much it changes things if Hawke is all "hells yeah!" instead of "maybe you should put more thought into this when the demon isn't making you eat people and stuff."
