Of course nothing will stop her from sleeping with him, she thinks danger was created by Maker to amuse her.

You know, that's an interesting consideration. We know in Awakening he was opposed to blood magic but (unlike Wynne in DA:O) he'd acknowledge if you made him a blood mage and not seem all that upset about it. And given that he gets himself freaking possessed, does he REALLY have room to lecture anyone else?but Anders may have something to say about her blood magic too.

Wasn't Anders impressed by the Baroness who obviously uses blood magic?

Not really, but he also has first-hand knowledge now of just how bad an idea it is to walk the wrong route with magic -- a different sort of route in his case, obviously, but. Call him the walking cautionary tale. Even good intentions can go seriously awry....

I think it would be hard not to be impressed by the Baroness. That said, being impressed by something is a completely different thing from supporting something.

ETA @Gala again: I might have to renege on that promise. I'm not liking the DA2 thread very much. They are scary. *cuddles everyone*

@Miri, I'l forgive you if you'll escape that thread too. We, true Anders fangirls, should escape from every place where we don't feel comfortable

Let us take some time to commemorate our beloved kitty, who seem absent from the DA II.
@Miri, they are very scary there indeed. Compare to that I prefer this one.

She would give him the benefit of the doubt, at least at first. It's hard to say without knowing how he behaves in-game. but if he's mostly "Anders" she would probably be all right with it, and want to help him. She's a blood mage by midway through the blight and knows the chantry was blowing smoke about that, and knew about Wynne's spirit, so she knows there's more than one kind of possession. Plus, she would agree with his goal 100%.Sarah1281 wrote...
@Lupus: So how would Maggie react to Anders' possession anyway? Would she be more open to it if she only met him afterwards like Hawke apparently will?
And frankly, it's Maggie. She'd probably be resisting the urge to hump his leg like an overactive puppy from the moment she sets eyes on him. That'll get him a lot more doubt he can benefit from. She's not stupid, but she's a creature of emotion and passion more than intellect. If she stopped to think she might realize it's bad news, but she wouldn't stop to think. She'd hear the story, get all wibbly for him over it, and then probably end up with a crush on him in hours. (See: Zevran. Who tried to kill her, and it was all she could do not to bang him the same night. Since she was all "a slave? the poor thing. and maker's breath, look at those legs!")
@Avilia: I always thought the same thing. Enough I had him discuss it in detail in fic, at least.
Re: blood magic.... in the video he has a blade tied to his staff. At the middle of his staff. I can't think of why a mage would do that unless it was so they could cut themselves quickly in battle. It's not in a place that would be useful for attacking. So he may BE a blood mage. Perhaps simply being joined to the spirit/demon gave him the skills.

Hehe, I think he and Merrill would be a nice couple. Better than Vaughan!Hawke and a poor elf girl (creepy).
Anders: Have I ever told you I find tattoos on women incredibly attractive?
Merrill: No, but I heard about it from my cousin Velanna.
Anders: dammit.

When will Nate actually appear in the Kirwall, now with the updates of Anders revealed? Was he there at the beginning, before he went to Vigil? Or was he there to track down Anders?
@ElZeeTrois, what's your dA account? I want to put you on my watchlist.

He was there during the events of Origins; whether he goes back during the time of DA2 at the wardens' request to track down Anders.... that's tbd

Pretty sure it's before. I remember earlier on the Devs said something about how OF COURSE them putting Nathaniel in Kirkwall for a year pre-Awakening aws a coincidence.
I was happy as a cucumber with this story, until Ander's detailed backstory came to light today.
Now I am not so sure.
